Zambrotta has to fight for his place cause if Pancaro plays good Trap could start loving him as much as Panucci. No big names in the backline so its a good chance to test players like Adani. Lets see how the forwards get on playing together.

Di VAIO up front !!!! disaster .. vieri needs someone with Totti to provide him with passes .... I think Miccoli should start ..

or maybe put him in in the second half and see how it goes with the slowest couple in italy (Vieri , Di vaio (although he is fast sometimes ))

Di Vaio is out (urinary tract infection)

    Nervo is in........

Di Vaio doesnt belong there anyways...

When Montella is fit, he belongs in the squad.............

Italy tied with portugal so far.

Portugal dominates the entire first half hour... but after thjat.. italy did some good work to enter the game.

Vieri equalised thorugh a dubvious goal..as he was fouling the defender but welll.

    second half right now.

i hope Italy are playing well. If not, then it's best they dont win so they dont get overconfident entering the competition.

Totti was not on his day-...he was innacurated.

had 2 very clear opportunities to score, and wasted both incredibly-

Forza MICCOLI and AZZURRI. I told you guys, we can take this game. Our defense was our weakest point, and with Nesta, Zambrotta, and Cannavaro back intime for the Euro, we will have a deadly side. Now just add DP and Inzaghi to the bench of that striking force, and man, we can do a rotation system at Euro2004 and not worry about players being too tired. Italy has an amazing striking force to chose from now that Miccoli and Cassano have proved their worth.

it's a shame that only two of Del Piero, Cassano, and Miccoli, Di Natale, and Delvecchio are going to portugal since they share a similar position.

The other three attacker spots are going to be between: Vieri, Corradi, Inzaghi, Di Vaio, Nervo, and Montella.
