I think he did what he was supposed to do in a game like that.
Yeah I know. I just don't like how he don't pass the damn ball and that he runs with his head held down. I keep on remembering that attack when he had 1 of our players at each side of him on 3 against 2 attack and he didn't pass the ball to a team mate.

If he can only learn to pass. We had a very promising counter by the end of the game and he didn't pass :(

Then again, if he wasn't so selfish he might have not scored a goal today :D

True, he barely passes. Strikers must be selfish to a certain extent but they also must know when to pass. Iaq doesn't.

He is not a joy to watch, far from it but he's helped the team most of times he's played.

:agree: His goal ratio speaks for itself. Very frustrating player though.

He played 90 mins today and 80 mins against Lech so that's already 170. Add some of the Serie A and it's ~270.

:p

So far he does have the best goal/minutes ratio of all our attackers, but it's very early in the season and 1 goal can make drastic changes in the numbers.

1. Iaquinta 1 goal / 114 minutes
2. Amauri 1 goal / 146 minutes
3. Quagliarella 1 goal / 157 minutes
4. Del Piero 1 goal / 214 minutes

One goal can put each one of them on top of this list. These stats can be meaningful only after half season or something.

I wouldn't rate the goals against the Mickey Mouse teams in the EL qualifiers though :p

My thoughts exactly :agree: After game I went trough threads here and it's frightening on how many things I agreed with you on :D

Also when Iaq was about to score the goal, I was moaning to my friend how he never pass the goddamn ball :D
