Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta believes his side's attack is just as good as that of Sampdoria with Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini.
The 30-year-old was speaking to La Stampa ahead of this weekend's match between the two sides in what has all the makings of a classic encounter.
Juventus and Sampdoria have become bitter rivals over the summer because Gigi Del Neri and Beppe Marotta moved to Turin.
“We are competitive. We have four strikers who have all played for Italy,” Iaquinta said.
“We'll see if Pazzini and Cassano are better. Anyway we don't feel less strong than them.
“I don't feel old so I hope that the door to the national team is closed. It depends on the Coach and on me, obviously.
“On paper Inter and Milan are superior, but Juventus have laid the foundations: we'll get back to winning, but I think that the fans have already understood that they'll need to have a little patience,” he concluded.
Our attack shouldn't be as good as Samps..it should be much better!
