It sure is but the chances the mighty DP fashions from FKs aren't exactly 1.00 ratio. Iaquinta scores, never mind how many chances he needs, he scores and actually tries. Our other tall forward has only started trying recently and our two SS traditional eat up chances.

Forza Vinny.
Well said, Sir.

Im not sure Im following you here. Are you saying Amauri is better than IQ or is it that both of them are horeseshit?

Either way, I disagree. In this 4-4-2 system IQ will shine just like he did before, the guy simply loves to run after a cross and that's just what Aqua along with Melo can provide for his, while crosses from flanks can be very helpful for him too while Amauri favors the last and I really can't see him beat a defender relying on pace like IQ is used to doing.

And yea, you brought nothing new saying those two are average at best and that we need top class strikers for a change, Im just saying how helpful to this team IQ would be once he's fit.

Actually no, Amauri would probably do better in the straight 4-4-2, as he did under Ranieri.

But claiming Amauri didn't "try" is quite clearly nonsense considering the amount of frustration he showed on the pitch last year.

He wasn't the only one frustrated.

Didn't IQ score 15 goals while rarely playing in Ranieri's last season with us when Amauri ended the season scoring 13?

Yeah, that's how good is Amauri. Look point is, IQ is capable of running into spaces which gives more options to the team while Amauri sits back and rarely takes the initiative towards the opponent's goal, he only waits for that cross to come and him to wave his greasy hair.

No, it's nothing but horseshit once again. It was quite obvious Amauri was trying last season but he just was really poor, which fucking happens sometimes. But of course, folks love to conjure up bullshit instead of real criticism.
Are you serious, he wasn't putting in effort at all, he never chased balls, he never tried to salvage failed flick on attempts, he was often negative just passing straight back instead of heading towards goal.

I don't know what matches you were watching but it's far from bullshit. The boy played within himself last season and rarely if ever put in a good shift. Showing frustration? of course he was because he expected what little effort he put in to reap rewards and when it didn't it meant he had to do even slightly more than he had been planning to do.

Claiming that his facial expression rather than his play dictates his level of effort is quite odd
