he scored 14 goals last season with udinese...ibra got 13...suazo got 14 but 8 of them were penalties...
hes a good 2nd striker but would be great as a 3rd striker behind del piero n trez
i just would have wanted us paying a bit less like 8million esp after we sold miccolli for 4.3

how can somebody who scores 20+ goals a season be crap? :disagree:
Well, I'm not biased against anyone, but Gilardino has done nothing extremely good in these 2 seasons in Milan. He was average in his first season and not good this year.In Parma all their game was built around him and he was doing wonders, but it seems that he is not a player for a big club.Oh, and he was not impresive in the WC too_Ok, maybe I was harsh to call him crap but IMO there are many much better, less expensive and less overrated strikers out there.

In the first 30 minutes of the Newcastle match Iaquinta fucked up four plays, two of which all he had to do was pass the ball for someone to tap in the goal. But no... he skyed the ball over the bar. Great work.

I was screaming at the computer screen during all of his fuckups

he isnt Juve material, and never will be...

some fools here will say "but its only one game", but this is the way the guy has always played, and its a surprise that he still manages to stay employed

I never saw anything special from the guy and always thought he was a selfish player. Not only on the pitch but off the pitch as well, regarding that contract bullshit. We should be playing Palladino before him, that's for sure.

If you break it down, most true strikers are a little selfish, and it makes them great, but I think he may be a little too much....the way you talk of him.
Believe me, he is. Today he had two breakaways and Trezeguet to his side by goal, yet he dribbled the ball right into Given and then blasted the ball 20 meters over the ball. Reminded me of you.
