I will be amazed if Juve shell out whatever ridiculous price tag Liverpool slap on Gerrard (prob £30m+), he would be a great signing but unrealistic. We need someone like him though, possible others? Riquelme? Tevez? If I were a betting man I think Juve will have a quiet summer............unfortunately

I cant see him selling Ibra then again I said that about Baggio. Vieira was a mistake and the last few months have underlined that, against Werder he looked awful. The only problem if Cassano signed is that it would probably mean Capello staying!!!!

I really dont think Gerrard would be the answer for Juve. We need more pace and creativity and im still not convinced english players can adapt to play in spain/italy. Although, if one english player was going to do it Gerrard would; hes such a determined player.
If out of the impossiblue moon he does come to Juve then he would come for the money, he wont be as determinined and will be exactly like viera a player who cant settle in serie A as easy. Ups and downs not as consistent and certainly not as determined. Gerard plays for liverpool with all his heart simply because its the club he loves, the club his born with and the club he prolly feels he would die with.

Vieira never really wanted to leave Arsenal and his lack of 100% committment to our cause shows it!!!!
However,Neddy and Gigi were also quite sloppy until their second year here,so let's hope Paddy's luck changes next season n he realizes that Arsenal is HIS PAST and Juve is his present. You know he is WORLD CLASS.

    people change
maybe after all those years depending on the Totti performance he came up with the conclusion,
that the super defensive flat 4-4-2 is the most constant solution,
he had the chance to create the team the other way but he didnt,
HE insisented on a second DM instead of an OM,
he made a choice and he didnt even asked for a back up young cheap player like
Mozart os smth as an alternative,
he never even tried to use Mutu/Neddy/DP in the whole even against much inferior teams after we insured the result,
it was HIS choice, he thinks
two defenders midfielders can over up each other when the one isnt in his best day, the other can hold the team and help the defenders,
the team this way is able to defend more efficienty,
OM have a tendency to injuries since their freguently get violent fouls
and when the have their down the whole team suffers,
    offensively,
when the one singal DM they have his bad day too the whole team may suffer defensively,
Italians coaches prefere defending schemes as a default,
to be competitive today in the Italian he have to be the same,
the attack wins derbies and funs but the defence wins the championship,
Capello after so many years is fully convinced that a defensive team that doesnt depend on a player's performance and doesnt exaust it self with full attacking schemes and fast attacks can last longer and have better results in the long run
and he is right from this perspective we won the championship last year we will win it this year and we will probably win it next year.

The only question is why he had to lie and claim his number one target is the CL...
    it isnt its pretty obvius...
maybe he was ordered to do so i dont know...

whatever he is just too stupid not to have an alternative back up plan for the important games of the season
esp against big teams who know how to defend right...

Tell you what would be worthwhile, buy sergio aguera his a total class act I dont care how much he costs he seriously would be an investment. I watched him play for independiente in a league match and he made some of the opposition defenders look like a right bunch of fools. Although TBH I think we may see barca, real or bayern beating us to his signature this summer..

Splashing out the cash for a big name player is NOT the way to solve our current problems.

    True.

But I wouldn't mind splashing cash on player who are willing to play with their heart for this team rather than how much they'll be earning per week. (Not saying anything about Pat) I'm against getting rid of Vieira.
