We have done brilliantly in these tournaments in recent times, winning 5 of the last 8 editions...With much talk of the players brought in by Paratici since the Summer, and the rising stock of some players we already owned, such as Boniperti and Libertazzi, lets hope the little ones can bring some silverware to the club for this season...

We needed two penalties to draw with the belgians, one scored by Libertazzi, the other by Giannetti...who also missed yet another penalty in the first half. A fiend named Deschilder scored both goals for our opponents. A solid, yet unspectacular start.

Miracolo a Viareggio!

Miracolo alla Viareggio Cup. La Primavera bianconera, data da tutti come eliminata, ribalta la situazione e va avanti nel torneo. C’erano non più di tre possibilità su 100 di farcela e alla squadra di Bucaro sono bastate.

Veniamo per ordine. La Juventus ha fatto in pieno il proprio dovere battendo il L.I.A.C. New York per 5-1. Grande protagonista Niko Bianconi, autore di una tripletta nel primo tempo (più una rete ingiustamente annullata). Nella ripresa, dopo la rete statunitense, ci hanno pensato Ruggiero e Libertazzi ad arrotondare il punteggio.

Quattro gol di scarto, fondamentali per prendere il secondo posto nel Girone 1. Merito anche del Varese che ha superato il Bruges con un netto 5-0, confermando di meritare il primo posto nel girone.

Incredibile poi quello che è successo sugli altri campi. Una serie clamorosa di risultati favorevoli ha permesso ai bianconeri di prendersi l’ottavo e ultimo posto utile per il passaggio alla fase successiva.

Dopo questa botta di adrenalina, ora la Primavera attenderà la serata di domani per sapere il nome della prossima avversaria da affrontare martedì 1 marzo negli ottavi di finale.
