Van Der Vaart 'Going Nowhere'
Hamburg have ruled out a move away for Rafael van der Vaart
The Dutch midfielder is desperate to leave the AOL Arena and has identified Valencia as his preferred destination after the Spanish club tabled a €14 million bid fir him.
But club chairman Horst Becker has insisted the 24 year old , who is under contract until 2010 will not be going anywhere.
"He won't be sold under any conditions" he said.
Sporting director Dietmar Beiersdorfer added: "The decision has been made. Rafael will not move during this transfer window."
The Dutch midfielder revealed earlier in the week that, "If I have to stay at Hamburg, that would be very painful for me."
Van der Vaart has reacted strongly to Hamburg's stance, saying: "My dream has been destroyed.
"I was promised that the club would consider such an offer. But the club turned it down immediately. It's almost arrogant."
Van der Vaart angered club officials earlier this week by asking for an "immediate release" from his current deal to make the switch to Valencia.
"I am determined to leave and Valencia would be a dream for me," said Van der Vaart, who has a Spanish mother.
