lol, Vinni you took it the wrong way. I'm actually seriously wondering what the procedure for something like that would be.

I've seen people get tasered for not willingly putting their hands behind their back while lying flat on their stomach with a cops knee on their back.
trying to deal with a naked guy, who is obviously a certifiable nut or is on some serious drugs, isnt an easy task (where would you grab him in order to to apprehend him....oh, nevermind !!:))

some serious reasoning would be the first order of the day, hoping that he isnt too much of a lunatic, and/or isnt on too many drugs

using the taser is one of my last options....it works like a charm, but I try to be as careful as possible in using it

I cant believe that the guy in NYC who was naked was tased while on a second floor porch (or was it an awning ?? I cant remember), the result of that was very predictable

Apparently brokers/traders at the World Trade Center were hearing talk of planes hitting the towers two weeks prior to the attacks. They thought the threat was credible enough to BUY put options on Airline stocks right then and there, before the event. This purchasing of puts was documented just like all these transactions. How the hell did they know?

TSA are a bunch of retards, and they dont have a fucking clue what they are doing....

they are not law enforcement (even if they think they are), and most of them either have criminal records, or havent graduated high school

big waste of money, IMO....and they are not making us any safer

I know federal agents who actually go undercover and test them, and you'd be surprised what they can get thru the checkpoints
Looks like we're in full agreement here :D

Amusing story in the paper today. A Norwegian paper was so curious about Palin they went to Alaska to check out her church. They found something of a freakshow.

It is Jesus, not the Republicans or Sarah Palin, that will save the USA from the crisis. Such is the message from the pastors in Palin's church, where homophobia, money and eternal suffering are key issues.

Around 100 people were attending this weekend, despite a visit from Colorado preacher Jayme Montera who had come to talk about miracles.

We [the journalists] were cordially received by the pastors, who consented to our attendance and note taking, but not pictures or recordings.

But after 3 hours in God's house we are left with an extraordinarily intolerant view on human beings.

Montera said of abortion "I cannot stand by and watch 50 million children be killed in abortion." Of homosexuals he said "I cannot stand by and witness how gays and lesbians behave in our country." He also said the Iraq war and the gas pipeline in Alaska are God's will.

As mayor of Wasilla, Palin tried to ban several books from the library, one of the entitled "Pastor, I'm gay", by the liberal pastor Howard Bess from the neighboring town of Palmer.

"Isn't he wonderful" [Montera, the pastor], says an old lady whose roots are from a small town in Norway. He has just told the story of a 16 year old girl called Amanda, who had been given weeks to live with a brain tumor and had miraculously been healed. We have not been able to corroborate the story, but Montera says it's well documented, so we'll have to take his word for it.

There is a wonderful diversity in Wasilla's least liberal [liberal not in the US political meaning, rather in terms of social tolerance] church. Obese men and women take part in the weekly exercise session [this is irony, he means going to church] as they sway to the music. It's almost painful to watch them trying to rise from their knees. There are also those considerably fitter, in North Face jackets looking like they're taking a nature hike after this. And a couple of teenagers looking like they were coerced by their parents, in contrast to the 20-30 individuals on stage enjoying life, Jesus, and the preacher, who cannot seem to get enough.

When the pastor asked who had had their life changed by Jesus there were few hands that didn't go up. "Those who reject Jesus will suffer for their sins and suffer eternally in a sea of flames", the church says on its website. Perhaps that explains why so many confirm their bond with Jesus.

A young man, who judging by his clothes, looks a better fit for the local "Mug Shot Saloon" comes to church late on a Saturday night and explains how he is pleased with the church's attitudes. "You know, I'm concerned that men's rights in this country aren't protected well enough", he says without a hint or irony.

According to the preacher, everyone should feel good about living in the US regardless of the election, as long as they open their eyes, their hearts, and their wallets for God. "God does not go bankrupt. God will produce more oil, if that's what it takes. Christian businesses will not suffer", says Montera who himself runs a respectable business as a traveling preacher.

"I am not worried about a financial crisis", says pastor Ed Kalnins, and asks people to donate to the church.

Even if Palin is in their hearts, their main concern in Wasilla Assembly of God isn't who the president is. "It doesn't matter who is president, as long as we are willing to accept God's will", says pastor Ed. "Amen, you guys."

My first reaction to Powell backing Obama was that he was just trying to get with the winning team, to try and get a nice job with Obama.

It's all starting to look like something really big will have to happen for Obama to lose.

The endorsement from Powell and Buffet to a certain extent really refute McCain's claim that Obama is a socialist. Which is a good thing. Powell may want another cabinet position out of the deal, but I have no problem with that.

I wasn't criticising Powell.

It seems that the negativity of McCain's campaign has really back fired on him and that has helped Obama open up more of a lead.

Meh, what's it matter. Bush may end up canceling the elections through declaration of martial law. The FEMA camps are ready to go and various regiments from the US Army on their way back to the States before the US dollar collapses and is essentially worth zero. Nobody will be able to price anything from assets to apples when the currency defaults, so martial law will have to be declared to restore order. Toilet paper will be worth more than the dollar. Then, shortly after, other economies will fail due to the IOU's we can no longer repay, so the US will have no choice but to form the North American Union with Canada and Mexico with the Amero being the new currency. This is the first step towards NWO we have been destined for.

No better time to be alive on this planet! This will be interesting times.

Because conspiracy theorists never sleep.

Well, it is a freakshow of witchdoctors and speaking in tongues.

This pretty much confirms the kookiness I saw recently in the documentary: Split: A Divided America.

Some people really have to learn what it means to starve before they realize that God isn't going to save them from bad governments. It's not unlike the people who think that God and faith are going to heal their daughter's leukemia and not medicine.

and there are people who believe that shit???
Yes.

The put options were being bought up just a few days before the attacks! If that isn't suspicious, I don't know what is. Back then the airline industry was rather healthy with oil prices at $30 per barrel. Not everything is an absolute joke conspiracy theory.
