is there any difference on their foreign policies between the two candidates?

(pardon my ignorance.)
There is. But the biggest difference [hopefully] will be that Obama do not have to be reelected and therefore he will have more 'freedom' to put pressure on Israel in terms of starting a serious discussion on a two-state solution [the only solution there is], which is why Netanyahu was so pro-Romney prior to the election.

I have my hopes on Obama to get UN back in the game of international politics. It will be hard tho since China and Russia isn't really interested in 'givin' the west anything. Especially Russia sees international politics as a zero-sum game which is why they are supporting Syria.

Romney with the wrong advisors could have been a disaster (Bush all over), but I doubt that he would have gone all jingoism on the world. Even the neo-conservative must have learned something from the many disasters of Bush.

well other than the Iran stand, between the two, they've mentioned Israel for about 30 times, and absolutely zero of Palestine or any peace talks. Isn't that rather depressing? As a non - American I'd be more interested in their foreign policies

Ah, yes. The idiotic love affair between israel and 'merica. One thing is certain when a candidate talks about Israel then it's all domestic politics. For some reason Israel and the safety of it is a big concern to 'mericans. 'Mericans that normally doesn't give a fuck about the rest of the world.

Obugger will want to make a name of himself in his last period and one of the most prestigious ways to do so is starting and succeeding in peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
