Let's actually go on topic here.. What is the general feeling in US about the elections? Is Obama still backed by the majority, or have they found out that he is nothing else than overhyped and overrated?
I don't think the "lesser of the evils" have ever played a bigger role in the US presidential elections than this time.
I would consider not vote at all, rather than vote for the Democrats or the republicans.
Obama was way overrated because it was "something new". Too many voted last term and did no research IMO. The guy has run this country into the ground in only 1 term. I see absolutely no reason to vote him back in again.
Anyone that thinks we are adding jobs and the unemployment is improving is looney.
And not voting is the worst possible decision to make. There is one better than the other and its up to people like you and I to vote to the "better" or the "lesser of the two evils" gets in, whichever you choose that is. (based off of your own opinion, that is)

You can vote for the independent party too. Not voting is weak imo. Sure, your vote probably means nothing but it's all about making a statement. If everyone who thought their vote wouldn't make a difference didn't vote, then a very large portion of the voters would be lost. Voting should me mandatory imo, no matter who you vote for.
No, it shouldn't be mandatory. You then impose government rule on free will. Who is to say that both candidates are absolute monsters and there is nothing your agree with and find offense to both, why would you want to have it "mandatory" that you still vote?

Your point is to distance responsibility through an argument of unintended on irresponsible consequence.
It's an arrogant and ignorant argument, maybe you should high-five your face with a history book.
My point is to distance myself from responsibility? I'm sorry to say, but blame the government, not me or my opinions.
I'm not responsible for the mess, my government is. Big difference.
