I caught the tail end and it looked like Romney was winning simply by being assertive and denying 80% of what he said over the last 18 months. Which was a brilliant strategy. Though I suspect he'll get some flack from the fact-checkers and maybe his base, now that he's a moderate. And did he really say he'd lower the debt by cutting funding to PBS?
