I love how an American ambassador is made an angel here after his death. I don't support his murder, but let's not believe that he was there for noble reasons.

Of course foreign policies are more complicated than that.

But have you notice where the praise comes from?

I haven't seen many 'Mericans calling him a saint or anything like that in here.

I read only the first page of the thread, and felt that some people felt he was there solely to deliver gifts to children during feasts...

Everyday CIA and the government get informations on upcomming attacks on 'Merican interests.

There probably have been some threats regarding 'Merican diplomats in Libya. But maybe the found them insignificant and didn't react.

Or maybe they thought that the Libyan government could protect them.
