I always find it irritating when people are so blinkered as to not understand the position of others.

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, the country is going to be split close to 50-50 and it's that sort of attitude that will cause difficulty and possibly animosity when everyone is trying to figure out how to move forward after the vote.

At what page can i find a summary of the entire situation @Red ?

I'd like to see what both sides think about it.
Have a wander around any of the big UK media outlets and you'll find heaps of stuff.

Finding balanced stuff when virtually every major media outlet is pro-Union is rather harder.

I find the vast majority of coverage very tiresome and haven't managed to find a source of news for it all that I find consistently reasonable.

Out of interest, has it been getting much coverage in Belgium, @Zacheryah?

I keep hearing how separatists in Belgium and Spain are glued to the coverage here and care deeply about the outcome.

I find it all rather hard to believe.

Some coverage, not that much. Politics havent mentionned anything about it.
"Separatists" is a strong word. We have a flawed structure in belgium, and one party wants to turn the federalism into confederalism, wich would solve half the issue.

However, the same party also wants a central right coalition going for an social-economical resuscitate governament, wich we kinda need after a decade of extreme left putting us into quite a bad economical and social situation.
So they got other things on their mind right now.

The reason i ask, is because i have a growing hate for how western media cannot be objective anymore. If i watch a UK outlet, they'll only say why it shouldnt happen.
So as i've been doing for a while now with such things, i try to ask someone who acually lives there, their view on the situation. Then i try to construct my own based on both sides. And usually dont side with the media

There hasn't really been a debate about it on here, so I can't point you to a page to bring you up to speed.

The end result of all of this will be a narrow 'no' vote, more powers for the Scottish parliament and another independence referendum within the next 25 years.

Do you have an opinion you want to share, or is it private ?
    I intend to vote 'yes'.

Had the 'devo-max' (more powers for Scotland, but not independence) option been on the ballot, as it looked like it would at one point, I probably would have voted for that.

Since the 'no' campaing were the ones who made sure 'devo-max' wasn't on the ballot, I was starting from a position where I was against them since they had denied me my preferred voting option and I have gradually become more convinced independence is the better option as the campaigns have gone on.

However, given that in the 'no' capaign's panic to avert a 'yes' vote in the last few day they have pretty much promised the stuff that would have been in 'devo-max', I feel as though I am heading into the referendum in a position where I'm very unlikely to be particularly put out at the outcome either way.

The 'yes' campaign has been pretty vague a lot of the time.

The 'no' campaign has just shouted 'no' at the top of their voice for the most part, claiming Scotland will lose out in every possible way with a 'yes' vote.

The reality, I believe, is that a 'yes' vote will simply result in a lot of negotiations about pretty much everything.

Neither Scotland nor England will get everything they want, but the continuing suggestion that Scotland will get absolutely nothing from it is silly given the rather useful bargaining chips Scotland would have.

For instance, if Westminster won't allow Scotland into any currency union, Scotland will probably decline to take over it's share of the UK's current national debt.

There are plent of reasons I could go into for voting 'yes', but I can't really be bothered.

I'd also like to mention that I think it's is excellent news that Ian Paisley is finally dead.
