Like Zamparini says: "Barzagli is another player when he plays for Italy. He lacks motivation playing for Palermo."
OK
So let me say it different:
Who is the better player?
1) Italy`s Barzagli (basing on his performance only when he plays for Italy)
or...
2) Zapata

Having Canna, Zambro, Oddo etc... beside you, sure boost confidence.

If he is at Juve, he will be expected to lead the backline.

My personal preference is Zapata as he has great ability for his age.

:agree: Though Chiellini can become a leader in our backline (he has potential to become one) so that will make Barzagli´s job easier. Don´t forget that Mellberg is coming, Andrade will maybe recover......and both players were captains of their national teams.

But why gamble with barzagli when u can buy zapata?? Palermo won't sell barzagli for cheap and neither do udinese. I think both those players will cost almost the same (maybe zapata more but not by much)...........

Who do you say is better Zapata or Barzagli?
I hear Zapata`s name alot recently and I wanted to know how good is he?
There isn't a great deal of difference between them just now, but Zapata will be much better than Barzagli in the future.

knowing Secco I think we won´t sign any other CB in the summer. We´ll have Mellberg, Andrade, Legro and Chiellini, that´s enough i think, however, players like Zapata or Barzagli are needed for future. imagine a backline consisted of Chiellini and zapata in the middle... both relatively young, both excellent fighters...

we cant wait to long to snap these players up coz it will just get harder and harder.

is still think its highly impossible to get zapata unless we through in say palladino in but still then it would be hard

I say offload Grygera and bring in Ujfalusi, Tonetto and Zapata. That way we'll have a bunch of different options for the defense.

Zebina - Ujfalusi - Chiellini - Tonetto

Ujfalusi - Zapata - Chiellini - Tonetto

Ujfalusi - Zapata - Andrade - Chiellini

Zebina, Zapata, Ujfalusi, Andrade, Chiellini, Stendardo, Mellberg, Legrottaglie, Tonetto, De Ceglie. That gives us a bunch of options and cover in every position. But I doubt we'll be getting both Uja and Zapata.
Sounds good but just replace Tonetto with someone else.He is really bad...its like old Molinaro.

Well since Andy mentioned it we should try and offer Grygera+Molinaro+$$= Zapata.

In my opion Molinaro isn't worth anything, but would surely lower the price of Zapata's value.
They are not THAT crazy. :p

After hearing the names Grygera and Molinaro, Leonardi violently hangs up the phone.

@ Andy & Dule:

One of you should change the avatar. realy...
We both did but anyway Secco still sucks.

Poor Barzagli. He really needs to move on this summer. Let´s see if he is really that good to make it in a bigger team.
Let him go where ever he wants as long its not Juventus.

OK

Don't trust MARCA. They aren't a reliable source and should wait until its confirmed

PS: It was MARCA that posted that fake pic of Kaka with the newspaper of Real Madrid winning the LIGA.

Fiorentina defender Tomas Ujfalusi says he will make a decision on future at the end of his season.

Ujfalusi's contract at Fiorentina expires in the summer and he could leave the club on a free transfer.

A number of clubs have been linked with Ujfalusi, but the Czech Republic international is ignoring the speculation.

"I'm a Fiorentina player and I won't make choices before the end of the season," Ujfalusi told Pravo.

"Fiorentina traditionally have big ambitions every year. After playing the Uefa Cup, we want to qualify for the Champions League. We still are in the game there.

"I will do my best to help the club take part in it."

Recent reports have suggested Atletico Madrid have agreed a pre-contract with Ujfalusi, but the player's agent Dalibor Lacina has rejected the rumours.

Contract

"It is not true that we have signed any preliminary contract with Atletico," Lacina told Pravo. "Tomas's Fiorentina contract expires in the summer, he will be free at that moment and allowed to go wherever he wants.

"After having agreed with him we will be solving it as soon as in the spring and will announce our decision after the season.

"We don't want to trouble him with anything else and don't want to give the Fiorentina fans any reason to be angry about Tomas.

"I am not ruling out the possibility that Tomas will extend his current contract, though."
