So Larry Hogan is a very credible person, Governor of Maryland for a while, and usually moderate. He posted this today.

He lives near BWI and also DCA, so I assume he is familiar with the approach paths to both of those airports.
This is the first time I can say this story sparks my interest. Or maybe not, because they could just be stars.

I mean, some of those "lights" he records are clearly the constellation Orion, you can see the three aligned and Betelgeuse, which is a star that blinks and cycles brightness wildly.
Some of these videos are interesting but smart phone recordings are usually too shit at night to make a lot of sense of, other than that. I'm not convinced the guy isn't getting excited by stars and maybe a helicopter or an odd drone. I had to do a couple of takes a week ago as Venus was so bright it looked like something else in the sky.
