Alen likes to judge players off a randomly selected five minutes.:D
Well, it was a pretty poor display.

If this was Cannavaro they would say that his teammates didn't help him out, and that it wasn't completely his fault.

I've seen Canna get owned several times in a similar fashion but many brush it off like that.

In my view, mistakes are mistakes and Gooch fucked up there.

Wait, I thought you weren't one to judge during the pre-season?
I'm not judging him. I just stated the fact.
Never said that he's a bad defender or that he will fail in serie A. Only said that he's playing bad in the pre-season so far.
Of course, he can be easily excused. New team, new style of football, presure, etc.

I doubt he'll win a spot in the first team anyway, no matter how well he plays. That's if Nesta stays fit, of course. Thiago Silva is so far the only one in Milan who's playing well, and, unfortunately, the guy is quality. He will easily win a starting XI spot.
A fit Nesta will undoubtedly be Thiago Silva's partner in the heart of the defense.

Onyewu will have to hope that one of Nesta/T. Silva will be injured and then he will fight for more minutes with the other defenders on the bench (Kaladze, Bonera, even Favalli).

Also Onyewu is not even bench material let alone starting. Him + Kalac alone can concede 100 goals without even trying.

Kalac out, Onyewu send him back to Standard ASAP, say he has rotten teeth or something

wait onyewu will score for us...

oh wait he already scored for us in the first half :touched:

Onyewu still thinks he plays vs Zulte Waregem and gets pwnd by Milito

Onyewu is a joke and he's a retard of the highest degree.

Onyewu - waste of space.

Onyewu with an assclown clearance, goddamned clown

We're going to be utterly destroyed with that clown in goal and Onyewu is not worth Senderos rear end

Onyewu sucks!

AND KALAC!

From before yesterday:

His positioning throughout the game today left a lot to be desired. Many times he was caught out of position and Favalli had to save his neck One of the goals was actually his fault.

This guy is a worthless piece of shit. He does not deserve to touch the Milan shirt. Fucking moron made my first live Milan match a loss.

I'm not the kind of person that wants to judge a player based on one friendly...

But if I was, HOLY CRAP THIS GUY STINKS!!!11

It's hard to say anything good about that game. It proved my point that Onyewu was a bad signing
Milan4Life said:
Onyuewu is the worst signing since Emerson and u will see this. Americans suck at football its a proven fact.
Astafjevs said:
Anyone who thinks Onyewu will be good enough, you can all think again.

Funny thing is, on Xtratime I don't see many people blaming Onyewu.

Those freaks on the AC Milan forums must be the biggest retards alive if they blame everything on the guy.

I know you hate Milan, but if Nesta really does come back, I take my hat off.

Interesting. Very Interesting

Livorno to sign Clark Tuesday 28 July, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Livorno President Aldo Spinelli has announced the club will sign Houston Dynamo and United States international Ricardo Clark in January.

The Italian Press are calling the transfer 'an alternative coup' as Livorno decided against buying La Galaxy's Landon Donovan after he asked for too much money.

Speaking before a Lega Calcio get together Spinelli explained why Clark would not be joining Livorno for another six months.

“Houston Dynamo are top of the League in America and cannot deprive themselves of him,” Spinelli revealed.

Asked about Donovan, Spinelli replied: “I am sorry but he is an important player and we are a little club with respect to the others.”

Clark represents Livorno's second major bit of business this summer.

Earlier this month, the Amaranto re-signed Cristiano Lucarelli, the Livorno talisman, who last played for the club in 2007.

The tradition of putting Mexico down, even when they have better players, is broken.

Come on, Donovan. Take a pay cut and play. There's always some excuse for your pussy-ass and European clubs.

Livorno would be a good fit for him, putting aside their fans' political views.

Mexico is a fine team nowadays though. I find them really really strong.
They still have coaching problems. And while they have better talent than we do in Dos Santos, Vela and others, they still underachieve. If they can come together as a team they will be a major force.

But until then, when we put our full strength sides together on a neutral pitch, we still have the slight edge. Perhaps not for long though with that talent.

They finally shed their cruft and are investing in a new generation of pretty solid players. And Javier Aguirre has his issues, but he's more capable than the most recent generation of coaches there.

But at the same time, they were playing the U.S.'s C team.

Seems Colorado have/are about to sign Jamie Smith.

Aberdeen released him because he is ridiculously injury prone, but he is a great player on his day.

Usually plays on the wing, but best as an attacking midfielder or second striker.

Scoring the first two goals against Copenhagen in our UEFA Cup run a couple of years back was the highpoint of his Aberdeen career:

Also scored several goals against Rangers.
