How many of you guys attended the WC 94? Was there a football fever in the US just like here in Sweden after us finishing 3rd :D
I was living in Palo Alto, CA, where Stanford Stadium was hosting a number of games just a mile and a half away. The place was crazy. Because eventhough Brazil's supporters set up base at the training grounds near Los Gatos about 20 miles south of there, they were always up in town and drumming in the streets.

Games I couldn't get into I would sneak into an English pub downtown to see, while the traffic ballooned around the stadium.

It was a pretty fun atmosphere. But IMO, I don't think it changed a whole lot in this country and how it perceived football.

Charlie to Souchoux, done deal according to Swedish newpapers. Sucks for our league that such a player leaves.

I took a laugh when our newspapers link someone of that caliber to some club over here. If Dinamo, then OK,we have some chances to enter CL this year. But hajduk?

The guy is good from what I've seen and i wish him all the luck in Sochaux,he'll need it really bad :D
