Depends on when I leave this place. Hopefully I can convince my group members to say fuck the project and just take the 5% hit or so and wait until after break. One guy can't even work on it all day for the next two days anyway.

They aren't haters. They simply think that their team is better than yours and that they will beat you if they play against your NT.
Just like you team that you're better and you can beat them.
Alen, the reason why they're so vocal about this is because they cannot fathom that the United States could be decent at football. Essentially some people are living in denial that we have made major steps to becoming good at the sport, and that's why you still see people claiming we wouldn't fair as well as Latvia in European competition, or that Bosnia would teach us a lesson in football.

Then, once it all blows up in their face, they hide behind the population argument as to why we won. I've seen this sort of thing for years now from fans we beat. There are always some excuses that basically do not give us enough credit or respect, but that's fine. If people don't respect our football then they'll cry even more once we beat them.

    who are those guys?

I think the USA have a great national team and I hate it because I am Canadian and our team will never make it to a WC hahah. Although I am very happy about De Guzman being so good. .. he is the best thing Canada has going for them

I think they States will win a world cup soon enough because they have the potential and anything can happen in a tournament. I thought their old coach was really good too. He talked like John Malkovich too :)

also imo US team > Bosnia team > Canada team lol

Stuart Holden and Robbie Rogers are in the picture, along with a hottie named Destiny Moniz.

Bruce Arena was a fantastic coach for us. In some ways I wish he would still be our manager because our current guy seems to be a dunderhead, but then again things have to evolve.

Unfortunately for Canada they have the same problem as we do... players such as Hargreaves and Rossi being traitors. Fuck them and their mothers, I say.

Pretty smoking girl (closest to the guys)

The only problem for us is we dont have a top player behind hargreaves. USA have some good forwards.

Arena is a very smart coach and was perfect for the USA because he understood their whole system.. from what happening with the American and European clubs where American's play, to bringing young players into the set up. Top European coaches would not have as good a grasp on american soccer like he did. HE was also very good tactically because I remember when he was coach the US team was always very dangerous and even the best teams in the world were afraid to face them because of the speed they attacked with. I liked their style alot under him.

On this Bosnian - US debate.

All due respect to Bosnia, but the US has a much better team. Granted i'd rather watch creative skillful players like Misimovic or Pjanic over anything the US has to offer. But thats not the point, is it?

The bosnians are playing the "we're in Europe its harder to qualify" card. Well 15 teams qualify to the WC from Europe. Much shittier teams than the US have qualified to the Tournament before.

Not to mention, that the US actually do well when they participate in the WC, they've always been a tough nut to crack. The same can't be said about the Poland's and Austria's of Europe.

Alen mentioned that if Bosnian Croatians and Bosnian Serbs played for their real country, things would be different. Then the same could be said for Algeria right? In fact Algeria would probably win the WC, if players like Zidane, Benzema, Nasri and Meghni played for them.

    It's much different.
These Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats were born in Bosnia, raised in Bosnia and their ancesstors lived in Bosnia for centuries.

It's like Andy deciding to play for Poland because one of his great grandparents came from there. Actually, this thing with the Bosnian Serbs/Croats is even worse because they are in Bosnia for more than thousand of years. The only difference between them and the Bosnian Muslims is that they didn't accept Islam when the Turks came 600 years ago.

But the point still stands, US is at least until this point a much better football team, theres no denying that. From what i understood, the debate wasn't about who had more talents but who had a better football team.

I said the same thing to Andy. If USA plays Bosnia today, i'll still put my money on the US win.
My long post in the other topic was about the reasons why didn't Bosnia make a tournament yet and why is it expected Bosnia to soon make a big tournament. The war and the consequences of it being the greatest reason for Bosnia's failure to make it.

But watching the u20 team of the USA last summer, i feel that the Americans are also rapidly improving, so even if BIH creates a very good team that will play at EC's and WC's, it won't mean that they'll be better than the USA.

That's true, Arena was a perfect fit for the job as he did understand the system. It remains to be seen whether a coach such as Klinsmann would do a good job here, but he does have experience in the US, so I think he would do well.

Right now, I don't have much faith in Bob Bradley, our current manager.

BIH could get much better, that's for sure. They probably should have a better team than they do now even in spite of the war.
