Speaking of American football, i was quite impressed by a guy in the U21s in Canada..i think his name was Zizou or something like that.
Sal Zizzo. He did very well at right-wing for us in Canada, being a constant threat with his pace. I think he was the fastest player in the side if I recall correctly.

Man, it was fun getting drunk and watching those matches. Our group of youngsters were pretty sick in the U-20's.

Szetela is a good passer of the ball and good tackler, very passionate while out on the pitch. I'm glad he didn't go to Roma because he needs playing time, something I hope he can get at Brescia.

But probably the best talent we have in midfield right now is Michael Bradley, center midfielder for Heerenveen who starts every match and scores a lot of goals. He really has the talent to excel in Europe and he is, so hopefully he will move on to a bigger club, perhaps in Spain. He's also a very passionate midfielder.

I think it was against Uruguay where him and Szetela were getting into fights with the Uruguayan players and laughing about it after the match. Gotta love those boys. :lol2:

Andy, How's Adu @ Benfica doing?
He isn't getting enough starts as I would like, but in the matches he's played he's done well, scoring a few goals. Perhaps swag can give us more details because he can watch the Superliga matches.

Greg, if you're out there, fill us in.

That's a pretty neat kit.I dont really follow the US national team..but is McBride still playing for the national team or has he retired? He's probably the only Fulham player that i like.
He retired from international duty after the last WC to make room for the next generation of US forwards.

He hasn't featured much in the first 11 at all yet, but where he has played he's actually had a nice scoring rate. i.e.:

Of course, Nuno Gomes has earned the name "NoNo Goles" among Benfiquistas and Portugal NT fans, so it's not surprising a second stringer like Adu would score almost as many as him.

I still think his best goal was his first, in a first leg of the Portuguese national cup:
    (second goal in this summary)

Just recorded Benfica's match today. I'll look for him.

    Thanks for that, Greg.

Hopefully he can get more playing time in the future. It should be obvious now that he does have loads of talent.

All right, this referee is a fucking faggot. That was a red card when that douchebag when in on Howard, and the foul on Convey should have been a yellow. This ref must be a spic because he keeps favoring the Green Cards. Fuck him.

If these fuckers hurt any of our players, I'm going to like Mexicans even less than I do now.

    2-2 because of stupid refereeing.

Yo, Jozy Altidore is causing Rafael MARQUEZ problems at the back. Now that's some pretty good stuff right there as Rafa is one of the better centerbacks in world football.
