Yea, they yelled "VIVA GROSSO" every time he touched the ball, and after Delpie made one error (misplaced pass) they booed him the rest of the match.
In some ways I wish I sat with you guys. I'd be so incensed I'd blast those fools.

Meanwhile Grosso spent match getting owned by some 18 year old reservist, while Burke, Dru, and myself stood at the Heineken stand and laughed at his crappy ass.
Simply an embarrassing day for everyone related to Juventus, besides Amauri of course. He was a beast, and will always be a beast.

Even MLS has a better atmosphere than Serie A. Philly's new GK looks great. Let's go boys.
Well thats a lie since they have amazing curvas in Italy that create a great atmosphere. The problem is that the regular people have stopped coming to the arenas.

Hence creating a worse atmosphere. The curvas are now filled with mainly assholes and the rest of the stadium is usually empty.

Just a reminder, here's the squad for these two friendlies. Yelldell, Whitbread and Chandler receive their first ever US callups. Interested in seeing the latter, he plays for Nurnberg.

Official Squad for Argentina/Paraguay
GOALKEEPERS (3):Marcus Hahnemann (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Tim Howard (Everton), David Yelldell (MSV Duisburg)

DEFENDERS (9):Carlos Bocanegra (Saint-Etienne), Jonathan Bornstein (UANL Tigres), Timothy Chandler (FC Nürnberg), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96), Jay DeMerit (Vancouver Whitecaps), Oguchi Onyewu (FC Twente), Tim Ream (New York Red Bulls), Jonathan Spector (West Ham United), Zak Whitbread (Norwich City)

MIDFIELDERS (9):Michael Bradley (Aston Villa), Clint Dempsey (Fulham), Mikkel Diskerud (Stabaek), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Maurice Edu (Rangers), Benny Feilhaber (AGF Aarhus), Stuart Holden (Bolton Wanderers), Jermaine Jones (Blackburn Rovers), Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht)

FORWARDS (3):Juan Agudelo (New York Red Bulls), Jozy Altidore (Bursaspor), Edson Buddle (FC Ingolstadt)

Sounds like Bob is going to run the 4-5-1 with Donovan - Bradley - Edu - Jones - Dempsey in midfield. I really dislike the central three pairing; we've tried it before and it hasn't worked. We need another creative ball handler in there instead of Edu. But we'll see how it works I guess.

Hopefully Diskerud and Agudelo get a fair amount of time, along with Chandler.

I'd like to see Gooch partner Ream at the back. No Boca in the center.

I don't think so. Holden is out for 6 months and Dolo and Whitbread both have muscular injuries.

EDIT: Lichaj got a call up.

Looks like we'll be facing the same team the Argies put out against Portugal.

    http://www.ole.com.ar/seleccion/team-sorpresas_0_450555146.html

Así las cosas, el equipo para enfrentar a USA en el New Meadowlands Stadium, será: Mariano Andújar; Javier Zanetti, Nicolás Burdisso, Gabriel Milito; Marcos Rojo, Ever Banega, Javier Mascherano, Esteban Cambiasso; Ángel Di María; Ezequiel Lavezzi, Lionel Messi.
