Whatever happend with Demarcus Beasley? I liked him alot during his spell at PSV and is John o'Brien doing something with football these days?
Beasley was playing for Rangers in the SPL for a few years. Last season they won the league, but since Beasley only played in 8 matches, he didn't receive a medal. So then he left on a free to Hannover to join Captain Cherundolo.

I'm not sure what happened to him. Back in the day he was a promising player, but ever since he played in the CL against Milan it's been straight downhill for him. Very frustrating player.

Johnny O' is the man. Not sure what he's doing now. Think he's just enjoying life.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was a coach somewhere though.

Currently in 2011, John O'Brien has announced the launch of the Ajax Online Academy into the US and Canadian market. This renowned youth Academy in Amsterdam is famous for talent development and has brought many big names into European Soccer. Names such as Johan Cruyff, Dennis Bergkamp, Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder all had their education at the academy. John O'Brien is the only US player so far who attended the academy and made it to professional level.

It's getting better though. I saw a lot of entertaining matches last season, especially involving the west coast teams. There was more promise to the MLS than there was watching Juventus, that's for sure.

 at this this state the team stands, that is very true. I also love F1 and I'm surrounded by NASCAR peeps, they don't understand true, advance, crazy skill of F1... Love it when there at Spa but I'm getting off topic here. Anyways thats how I look at MLS here like NASCAR while the true elite soccer is in Europe, though I have a degree of respect for MLS fans who these people try to embrace our Domestic League, but I just can't stand it personally and it will never be like it is in Europe at least in my lifetime.

Remember the time when Ac Milan and Juventus played in the US 2003 I think for the Supercup. Great match even though it went to penalties but man were we such a different team, we were so solid. Ac Milan was very different too, that match was very intense it seemed Serie A was a very high level back then which we lost some years ago; thanks to Inter Serie A got raped and degrated.
