You mean the BBC posts news on Twitter?! I thought they'd tell me what Natasha Kaplinsky had for breakfast. Bastards!

I'm surprised that people don't know the distinction and greatness of twitter compared to FB

twitter is my primary tool for a news source. I follow who and what i want and they provide the info i wnat to see. its actually useful as opposed to FB

I wouldn't compare Twitter to Facebook as one is a news source in a World Class format and the other is a social network.

Both are considered social networks
That's not my understanding of them and that's definitely not their purpose for my usage. If others consider them social networks and compare them to each other then I have nothing to do with this comparison-.

What's worse are marketing yucks who label "YouTube" under the social networks banner. Talk about clueless -- that makes the difference between Twitter and FB seem trivial.

I was asked to do a survey recently that asked which social network site I use most often. The options were Titter, Facebook, Youtube, Myspace and Google. :sergio:

I told her I was 14 and the only one of those sites I've ever been on is Myspace.

Like who actually does heavy friending and friend activity streaming on YouTube?

Some people are so clueless that they lump any technology they discovered in the past few years under the "social networking" banner. We probably have idiots thinking QR codes are a form of social networking.

Now Google+ and Facebook can be heavily compared and damn what a difference. I have already written my wish for Christmas, I want all my Faceboook contacts to move to Google+

Google does have Gmail and GoogleTalk but it's nothing more than a Facebook chat or MSN.
