I still don't agree with the mass opinion of Camoranesi here, it seems to me you're seeing (or want to see) things that aren't there. Before he went of injured, Camo was running off the ball verywell and took part in defending. He didn't see too much of the ball, but neither did Nedved at that point. His injury problem is probably just a strain, but I don't doubt that it was real.

C'mon, we probably all play football here, dont we? It's obvious how Camoranesi was running, and you can't compare the way Pavel was running to Mauro. Pavel though didn't see much of the ball, but he was a real spirit, nice touches, nice combinations between Ale and him. He was pretty good last night.

Camo, will prove to be highly effetive in Seria B, after all what else can he do. Sure he looked a bit put out last night, but that was to be expected. Just let the season begin and let him play football again, and those of you who boo him now, will soon be cheering his name.
Also, he'll want to, more than ever, show the watching public(scouts) just how good he can be.

Where did we boo him? We're just stating some facts, is it that bad? the fact that he didn't run last night doesn't turn us into boooer.

If you don't consider yourself one of those booing then don't be troubled to respond.
I, myself, have never been a fan of the poor-man's Ortega, who was himself a very poor-man's Maradona, but he has had a difficult few weeks, but will show form again in Seria B.

but one wonders if as true fans we should just critisize a few players or all the ones that we see as they are not currently showing their true skills
I think we should criticize any player that is not performing or giving 100%.

so why do you bitch at me whenever i try and critisize del piero (and sometimes even when i am defending him)
I never bitched at you when you criticized Ale, Infact I've bashed him myself lot of times. But when you want to criticize a player or bash him, do it with reasons, the way you and many Zlatanistas and pro Crapello members were bashing Dp was complete rubbish with no sense and of coarse no reasons.

The player under Crapello was a bench player, and he did more than any other bench player in the world. He did score more than Zlatan in both seasons, he did perform better than Zlatan in both seasons. He was by mile better than Trezeguet 2seasons ago. He was the most decisive player in Serie A. yet we had these kiddy members loggin into this forums insulting Dp and asking for his head.

When Del Piero doesn't performe or give 100% on the pitch, then I'll be the first one to criticize him. But I doubt him not performing since fooked up person like Crapello left the team.
