The only reason Trez is staying is that no big club like Madrid or Barca have come for him......and even if they do; he wont get a starting eleven spot there ( like in the french team)

No one outside Italy rates him highly at all

IF Secco is seriously trying to secure the likes of Cruz or Lucarelli, Trezeguet is destined to leave. Unfortunately that's all there is to it and things do not look very promising.

If he could make so many goals in Italy, IMO he can do it better somewhere else.

No Cruz or Lucarelli, just keep Trez!!!!

I'm wondering how it is possible that DD wants Lucarelli in the squad while he wants Trez to stay at the same time?

I don't like Cruz at all. Lucarelli is pretty dangerous, but I'd take Trez over Lucarelli and a bag full of cash anyday.

yeah but what if Trez is injured half of the season.

That's a thing Secco will probably have to consider. It's a fact that Trez is injury prone, and Serie B is rougher than A, it seems.

Can we take the risk of paying such a salary, and seeing his market price drop drastically?

I think we can handle Treze's possible injury. We have Zala and Il Capitano and I expect Palladino to "explode".:)

It could mean bye bye to zala or even palladino then. However I think the idea of having trezeguet is more of the directors choice rather than deschamps. Although I dont think deschamps has even mentioned anything about lucarelli and who knows it may just be rumours afterall.

Palladino is a young hot prospect.I'd keep him.

So Didier didn't say, officially, that he is inetersted in Lucarelli?

Not a bad time to reward loyalty with loyalty, eh?

If we can sell Trez for good money and get Lucarelli in return at a lower salary, that might not be so bad either. But Cruz? No mas, por favor!

I don't care if he stays or goes. Whatever the fact is, we need the younger players in our team as they will be the one to guide us to scudettos and other titles.
