Diego's normal position is 2nd striker, more like Del Piero, in bremen he's more like attacking midfielder due to soo many strikers over there. But thats not his position.

I like Huntelaar. But I think he isn't cheap.

I agree about Diego, but i think his price will be close to Huntelar's if not more.
Boji can be a decent replacement for DP and wont cost us much.
Huntelar is young and would be a solution for the future. I'd get him if Trezegol has left and in this case we will get somr cash from his sale which can be used to purchase a new striker

I like Trez's pedigree and history with Juve of course, plus his habit of scoring the opening goals, Madrid 3-1 springs to mind, Milan two years ago but he is slower now and gets injured much more often.
Plus he is not a final/big game player, goal in the Euro final against Italy all those years back but missed pens in the Champs League vs Milan and against Italy in the WC..
Also with DelP getting on a more mobile strike partner would be more ideal - witness the success he is having with Palla.
Don't get me wrong, Trez has scored some outstanding golals in the black and white but if we can cash in now on a player whose loyalty is dubious (if somewhat understandable) and bring in Huntelaar we have to look at the future.
Who is the next big goal machine? Huntelaar. Would be top scorer in Serie A next year in my opinion..

thanks for the info, but nowadays being called up to the Italian national team isn't a measure of greatness

Letting Trez go would be a big mistake. No body could replace him right away, it would take time for someone like huntelaar to settle in. On the other hand he could leave on a free transfer in 2008, so if he wants to move on then we have to sell him this summer and hope a new striker could settle in right away. If not? Well no worries Palladinho will take it from there
