I agree with u, but what about this Fifa rule that allow players to discuss another contract with other clubs?!!! i have no clear idea!
can they leave 4 free?!!! coz next year, trezeguet will be in the same situation!!! :smoke:
I don´t know about this FIFA rule, but I know Bosman ruling: A player can start negotiating with other clubs 6 months before his contract expires, and yes, no compensation will be paid to the club if the player decides to leave the club.

The way I see it
Our next year Juve would be something like that (the changes):
1) we will buy a defender which probably be Barzagli
2) we will buy a defensive midfielder which probably be Mascherano
3) we will sell Trezeguet probably to Lyon ang gain lots of cash and then we buy Klose which would actually mean we give Trez and get Klose + cash (a good deal IMO)
4) we might get Robinho too and eigther play rotation with him DP and Klose or play him as an attacking midfielder or a winger (my bet is in a rotation with DP and Klose)

I hope that it actually happens but I also hope we get 2 defenders instead of 1 as we surely need it
I hope so, that would be a great team.

Hey don't forget to shoot Boumsong before we get back to Serie A.

The likely outcome is that if Juventus sign Klose from Werder Bremen, they would use the sale proceeds for Trezeguet. The figure quoted for Klose is not, I'm absolutely certain, set in stone. Meanwhile, if Klose did arrive at Juve then I cannot see us NOT buying Robinho. It would be his job to replace Pavel Nedved, to feed the likes of Klose, Bojinov, Palladino et al....... and scoring plenty of goals himself.

What is of paramount concern is the need to complete deals between now and the end of January 2007. This is of particular importance to demonstrate to the supporters but also to the players (especially Camoranesi, Buffon) that there is the ability and committment to refashion a new Juventus squad of real quality.

Even if some or all of the proposed signings would not be playing for us till September 2007, I would at least expect us to be in a position to complete the transfer arrangements now or in the very near future to make a statement that we mean business and intend , as Blanc stated two months ago, that Juventus management would not embark upon a slow speed readjustment once back in Serie A. You may remember that noises were being made earlier this season about taking years before we reach the level attained during the last few seasons.
That kind of talk was very counter productive and engendered negative thoughts amongst some, if not most or all, of our playing staff.

In other words, as far as I am concerned, I look to fewer Tribal Football type 'Juve are tracking XYZ' and more of 'Juventus agree terms with XYZ - OFFICIAL'

6 points from the next two matches will provide the platform to negotiate with supreme confidence.

Did you copy that text from Jun-Hide?:D
Being perfectly honest, I also kind of missed the importance of completing deals before next summer. Yes, as Luffy pointed out, it is of our paramount interest to make certain signings prior to the season end. After all, talk is cheap. Kudos for pointing out such subtleties!:toast:

If Trezeguet is sold I do expect us to sign two strikers not one. Because as accomplished as Klose is, Trez is a big shoe to fill in, and there is no guarantee that he would be successful in Serie A. I wouldnt necessarily think the young striker will be Robinho (unless we have pre-agreement), but VDV and Rodrigo Palacio would equally be adequate and they already have EU passport so shouldnt be too much of problem. And signing Beckham might actually be good idea. I am not a fan of him by all means, but he might just be deal-breaker for Camo and Buffon.

Oh btw, Mark, I am trying to keep my text short these days ;).

Klose said in a interview ( a hate this word because of the first 5 letters :D ) he will sacrifice CL for transfer to Juve , but Werder needs to qualify for CL Spot in Germany and the season is long ,don't you think ?
IMO if the managment can keep both Trezeguet and Klose as a strikers ,would be a hell of a attack, with support of Del Piero , Paladino , hopefully Nedved , Robihno...

Off topic: Bulgaria becomes member of EU ,so we have extra place for non EU player instead of Bojinov.

not to jump the gun here on next season, but I believe there could be a way that we could be playing European soccer (UEFA Cup) next season

IF we get promotion back to A, couldnt we attempt to be included in the Intertoto, with the winners getting UEFA Cup spots ??

I dont know all the rules about it, but it might be worth a shot...it still is European football, afterall !!

With all this talk about starting the Serie A season early next season because of the Euro qualifiers, then Juve would already be getting into training, so why not shoot for entry into this tournament ???

You're right in here, but I don't think that will be possible.

intertoto competions start veryy early.. dont think it is worth all the hassle, i prefer Juventus prepare a great season in the serie a, and take advantage of the fact that our rivals will be playing european footbal, and we can concetrate on the serie a.. nothing against the interoto and the uefa cup, but now ith its gruop stage juventus wwould be facing a very congested first period of the season.. and i dont think it will be the right decision.. and i dont think its even possible to do so...

actually i think that will harm our team since it start really early and we will have to prepare for the new season with some new faces in the team. and i also think the Serie B ends really late so their is basically no time at all
