Don't compare Del Piero's CHOKING to anyone's because he has mastered that art like no one else.

The midfield looks a bit weak after the first lineup. An injury to pirlo, gattuso or Fiore and they're screwed. Corradi shouldn't be there imo. Way overhyped i don't really see the use in him at all.Quite surprised to see dp there too

And Nick, I agree with you. If DP gets subbed by Cassano at any point in these Euro's, then Cassano will never see the bench again. But that doesn't mean that its Del Piero who will see the bench.


Hell, I'd rather play Del Piero on the right and have Dp-Totti-Cassano supporting Vieri.

In the end its a similar squad to Sven's england. Tried and tested, not willing to take "risks" even though taking the likes of Gila, or Defoe for england would hardly constitute a risk imo but hey..

There's no way DP wasn't going to be included as he finished the season on a relatively high note and Trap is one of those coaches that prefers to show preference to those players who helped the team qualify for the finals in the first place; DP was one of those players.
