Next season's Juve:

GK - Buffon, Chimenti, Mirante
RB - Trabelsi, Birindelli
LB - Evra, Pessotto
CB - Mexes, Ferrari, Legrottaglie, Tudor, Ferrara
RM - Zambrotta, Camoranesi
LM - Rothen, Kapo
CM - Tacchinardi, Appiah, Blasi, Brighi, Conte, Maresca, Emerson
CF - Gilardino, Del Piero, Di Vaio, Miccoli

Starting line-up:

Buffon
Trabelsi - Mexes - Ferrari - Evra
Zambrotta - Emerson - Maresca - Rothen
Gilardino - Del Piero
Would be great, but letting Nedved go is a question mark... DD as coach with that team, we could make miracles... I like your buys man, but is that realistic?! hole new defence-line, bit risky...

Yeah, it's risky, but it could definitely happen imo. Trabelsi wants to play for us and I'm sure that Moggi would be keen on him if we could get him on a free, and if Deschamps comes I'm pretty sure we'll get Evra and Rothen. Ferrari is extremely close to being a Juve player so that leaves just Mexes, and if we don't succeed in signing him there's always Kroldrup, Squillaci, Rodriguez, etc.

That sounds like a fantastic team, and if Deschamps can bring home the C.L. Title for Monaco, he surely could bring us one with an even stronger team, like the one listed by Stuart. I can't wait for next year!

Great team, almost identical as the one I posted but the Ferrari at LCB makes me perplex and you people know why. ;)

Also, 7 new players in the starting 11 is a bit too much but I think it should be done. Maybe that will be the 2005-2006 roster. :D

Mexès can't play LCB. Never saw him play there. Auxerre plays Mexès at RCB and Boumsong at LCB.

    imo he can ;)
Did u see him play that position? Was he good? ;)

Imagine playing at one position all your life with a small team and now you are sold to the biggest team in the world and they put you in another position. It will be hard to adapt IMO. People think, yeah it's easy, it's still central defense but a lot of adjustements need to be made.

Mexes indeed plays RCB, but as far as I know Ferrari can play LCB.
    Neither does Ferrari IMO :D
Bonera started as a RCB with Brescia, when he came to Parma he had to play RB because Ferrari couldn't play LCB. At least that's what I think happened. ;)

    Parma's defense is like this

    Bonera-Ferrari-P.Cannavaro-Seric
    or
    Castellini-Ferrari-P.Cannavaro-Bonera

I really thought that Ferrari played at LCB. I remember him playing against that Turkish side Gengirculruacli (or whatever), and he played the whole match at LCB. He did a good job there IMO.

But if Moggi looks at the facts like you do, then I can't see both Mexes and Ferrari coming to Juve. I am afraid that it will be Matteo coming to Juve instead, along with Squillaci as LCB.

But again I think Ferrari could do well at LCB.

Again, Squillaci is a RCB. :D

If you saw Ferrari at LCB and he played we'll than I believe you but I never saw him play there.

Hope your not saying Dominic Matteo. haha ;)

Dominic Matteo! That would be the biggest joke ever!

I could of sworn, again, that Squillaci plays as a LCB! Jeezus, does anyone play LCB?!

    Monaco backline

    Ibarra/Givet-Squillaci-Rodriguez-Evra

    Here's a list of LCB's available

    Carvalho
    Chivu
    Edmilson (can play RCB too)
    Escudé (nah)
    Juan (nah)
    Kroldrup
    Metzelder
    Stovini
    Yepes
    Samuel (To Madrid)
    Cordoba (can play RCB too)
    Cannavaro (can play RCB too)
    Burdisso
    Lucio (can play RCB too)
    Milito

Burdisso, Carvalho, Kroldrup, Stovini, Yepès and Milito would fit with Juve. Some has starters and some as backups.
