About the nicknames, the french like to call us "les p'tits belges" (the small belgians :groan. Actually they don't hate us at all, but see us as a sympathic but underdevelopped nation....

From our part, we like to call the dutch Kezen, vuile Gouda's, or indeed Hollandse Boeren.
I remember a football match where Belgium was losing 3-1 to the Kezen. The Dutch began to sing: wat zijn die belgen stil! at which the belgians instantly replied: Wat zijn die Kezen dom, wat zijn die kezen dom...

and of course for our German cousins we hold cute names like: boches, shleus, frisés, fridolins; and in Flemish, mostly: moffen, or a variant: vuile moffen.

"Wat zijn die Belgen stil" is hardly something specific to Belgium though. We'll insert any given nationality into that song. Like I said; the Dutch-Belgian rivalry doesn't exist; it's one-sided.
