sorry i could not help it,like i said we were at the concert and john got the crowd(me included)to shout get well soon,the ramones were ace and did the rock and roll thing to perfection

Loved the Ramones. But I couldn't call any of their songs as standouts or anthemic enough to make a "top 10 rock songs of all time" list.

Maybe clocking in at under 2 minutes almost every time does that.

Its all good homes, ramones aint bad but they sure as hell dont fit in Rock's top ten in my opinion (the smarter opinion ). I know the subject is songs, but some of these lists are more pop than rock.

yeah we need a poll,the problem is that everyone has different ideas of whst constitutes a great rock song,some of my favourites ramones-i wannaa be sedated, foo fighters -everlong, fleetwood mac- the chain, to me these are great someone else will think they are pish,this could run forever

well after rounds of complaints i finally decided to put up my list:

1)The Led- stairway to heaven
2)jimi hendrix- voodoo chile
3)Stones- paint it black
4)Pink floyd-comfortably numb
5)AC/DC-thunderstruck
6)The Doors - Riders on the Storm
7)The Led- black dog
8)ozzy-crazy train
9)Iggy pop-Lust For Life
10)Sex Pistols- Anarchy in the UK

Again it's not the top 10 bands, but the top 10 ROCK songs, no pansy shite

great songs there, i'd just switch the last one with god save the queen.

To me , these songs are evergreen / classic rock tunes.
