Aimar and Riquelme play between midfield and attack, so as the traditional playmaker. Rosicky on the other hand plays in center midfield. It's difficult to compare them because Rosicky gets fewer goals and assists because he plays further away from goal, and because of that you see him less during the game.

Oh, and he's not free.

Riquelme is a targetman and an extreme playmaker. He is always available, the only way to stop him is to constantly have 2-3 men on him, which would make forward runs from Zalayeta, Nedved and Zambrotta deadly. And he's passes turns your guts inside out.

I want him in Juveee sooooo bad.

So take Rosicky or Riquelme. IMO, Rosicky is cheaper ( Borussia is in financial crisis).
If Riquelme would be cheaper, I would welcome him.

Very, very cheap!

Czech international playmaker Tomas Rosicky, contracted until June 2008, is expected to be one big name departure with Borussia looking for a two-figure sum for the playmaker.

10 is too much imo, considering we're going to have a budget that involves bringing in 2 more defenders as well. And considering theyre looking more for the money more than a player + cash deal, its going to be unlikely to pull this one off.

Og sweat shizzle this is good news even though nothing will happen. :lick:

Best case scenario: We buy Rosicky, Some team buy Koller, Dortmund buy Elmander. :lick:
