I know that many here hated Tiago alot but i don't think that Tiago is such a bad player honestly. Every time i've watched him playing with the portugese NT even during those past 3 years, he impressed alot.

The league might be just not suited to he's type of playing or he didn't get much chance to play in he's prefered role in our team. That kind of things happens all the time.

Thiery Henry looked like a joke with us in serie A once other highly rated players didn't make it in this club and when things are not going well with the whole club (instability) like our situation right now some players would look really really bad when in reallity they're not that bad.

Tiago lacked balls. It's like he was scared of the ball. The talent was there but in the head something was missing. Henry was practically playing at LB with Ancelotti. From the few games he played for us he was ok. In one game he was great and scored 2. I think it was vs Lazio.

Ledesma can work in all of the possible formations: 4-4-2,4-3-2-1,4-2-3-1,4-3-1-2 and finally 4-5-1. So I see no point in waiting for a new coach to note that we need a passing player in other words a regista.

In case you didn't notice, we always suffer from fatigue and injuries and this will only get worse with us playing Europa League games on Thursday. So We need good back-ups.

Oh, I think I misunderstood you earlier. You'd get Ledesma because you think he's good enough for a starting spot. Seeing as his passing ability will obviously not make any difference if he's warming the bench for all but 5 games.

But most of Juve's fans back then were calling henry a joke and a waste of money i remember that period pretty well. The thing is some players just can't fit well in some leagues and Tiago IMO is that kind of players.

Am pretty confident he'll do well in spain with atletico.

I said "a lot" more games, not 2 or three.

In fact, for all we know, we may only play 2 games in the EL. Coppa could be over in 1 game I think (or are there 2 legs in our first round?).

I was just pointing out how many games are left.

Seriously though, "our" first round is a game against Napoli (at home I assume). I would not say that I think we'll lose, but it's certainly a very realistic possibility.
