I think you had an extra liking for Tiago, more then usual, but could be objective, but with this post, you just showed you arent no different from that Nedved fanboy Grande Pavel.

Insanely ridicolous thing to say Tiago was our best player when he was one of the worst ones. Mellberg, Buffon, the two strikers, Molinaro and Nedveds constant useful running (defensively, offensively they was cack), and Marchionni being quite useful when he came on, are just examples of players who were better for me.

Momo wasnt any good, Camo was nonexistant, Legro was sketchy, Chiellini was terrible with possession, but more useful then Tiago defensively (Tiago has stood his ground in refreshingly better games, but this game he was nonexistent defensively, and besides one excellent pass, was either giving away the ball, or shying from getting it), et etc, should I say more? How was he better then these players, in what way?

You have some who were supbar, some average, and some more useful then the othrs (with Mellberg the rock, the strikers and Gigi being top for me). Its quite clear which clear Tiago of this game belongs to, and he was one of the poorer ones of that group to boot.

Seriously, I understand sticking up for someone when they get bashed, but to say someone who had a very poor game to have been the best we had? Beyond fucking ridicolous, and as I said, no better then that Pavel fanboy, who atleast tries to sugar coat and gloss things to deflect from the average performances, never actually says he was the best Juve player when he was one of the worst ones.

I got over exited because I saw so many people here bashing the shit out of him. All I wanted to say is that he was better than all of the other midfielders. I like tiago a lot but I'm no fan boy.

According to tuttomercatoweb Tiago could renew his contract.

Let the "Fuck Sucko" posts rain.
I wanted us to sell him for his bad season, and up until just few months ago. But now with Zanetti's age and injury proness, and Tiago showing himself to be quite a useful player, I would like us to resign with him. I just hope, unless he improves his standard, that he isnt a guranteed starter and that we buy a great CM if possible. Or Marchisio develops even further and is that player.

Either way, if Tiago plays like has for the last months (not great, but decent), I welcome an extension.

I don't expect Tiago to follow him around. If Sissoko goes walk-about, that is his problem, though someone should tell him to do it less. It causes more trouble for us than the opposition.

All I want is Tiago to be within easy passing range of Sissoko when Sissoko recieves the ball from the CBs, or cut out Sissoko and Tiago take the ball from the defence.
:agree: which was exactly what Marchisio was doing...he tried some over ambitious passes that did not hit the mark, but he made a few of them too

he looked really good in the first half with some crisp forward passing but faded into the back ground horribly as lazio became dominant.

hopefully we'll see more of the first half tiago from now on.

but i still wonder y ranieri has him playing so much deeper than sissoko

to pick up the ball and play make like pirlo? Maybe he thinks Momo's passing is a liability and Tiago is better at keeping the ball in the midfield.

I would rather see Poulsen than Tiago as he gives us good passing and defensive coverage and strength. Not saying I don't like Tiago but out of the two..

Poulsen's passing is underrated, I wouldn't say its better than Tiago's.

Anyways, Tiago still lacks heart in my opinion, he needs to exert his soul more into his game. May be he's trying to be composed....but still

I think that is Tiago's problem...he can be brilliant but can fade quick and can be easily dominated in the middle. He has trouble forcing the tempo and his prescence in the middle
He's not a DM and It's not his duty to push the opponents' midfield back. If our DMs do what they're supposed to do, he will have his moments of brilliance like the pass he gave to Iaquinta. He was providing a source for hope last night.

what a ridiculous thing to say.
sissoko is so umpredictable...now he's dribbling 4 players doing a goal all of his own...and then he cannot pass an entire game..he is still very young and i expect to grow his passing skills by the next season...this is juve...we ain't a football school...we cannot sit years to teach some player some basic things: molinaro to cross, sissoko to pass, marchionni to dribble, grygera to wear a mouth guard etc etc..
