i never saw tiago playing good like how the everybody saying and from what i saw hes just average player who cant change the game but base his work with strong midfielders or strong team who can give him the ball so he can perform hes not hard working midfielder and not so creative like pirlo for example he just cant hold the ball for more than 2 seconds and i think ranieri gave him enough chance to prove himself but hes just not good enough for juve in my opinion
:agree:

Euro 08 is coming up and I don't think Tiago would want to miss a call-up to Portugal's squad by rotting on the bench. Let's move on. Tiago is not the first or the last player to fail at a club.

i've always supported Tiago and defended him as it wasn't easy for him at all given the circumstances. But this club demands its players to be on a certain level from many different aspects and one of them is determination.

The press will slaughter and so will the fans but to be successful in this club you can't go around bitching unjustifiably to the press.

Its a shame because i thought he had more steel in his personality. If he wants to go then lets cash in on him and bring back marchisio if we can.

Spurs Closing In On Tiago

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to sign former Chelsea star Tiago from Juventus for a fee of £9million.

Unsettled Juventus star Tiago looks lke getting his wish to leave the Old Lady as according to reports Spurs have already agreed a fee with the Serie A giants and are hopeful of completing the transfer early next week.

The Portuguese midfielder, 26, rejected a loan move to Atletico Madrid, preferring to return to the English Premier League.

Tiago was Jose Mourinho's sixth signing for Chelsea when he joined his compatriot's Blues side from Benfica for £8million in 2004.

He played regularly in the Chelsea side that stormed the club's first championship in 50 years in 2004-05, winning the Carling Cup as well along the way for good measure.

However, the arrival at Stamford Bridge of Michael Essien cut short his Chelsea career, and he moved to Lyon for £6.5million in August 2005, although Mourinho later admitted that letting Tiago leave had been "a big mistake."

Tiago helped Lyon win two French League titles before Juve bought him for £9million last summer.

Now he could be heading back to London with Chelsea's rivals Tottenham.

12 M€ is not a big difference on the price we got him in for, as much as it is sad that I had high expectations from Tiago, I feel the move is good. Tiago with the Juve shirt just didn't work. Apparently the money will go for Mellberg and Sissoko, on one hand Mellberg is desperately needed where Sissoko is just to fill the Tiago's place.

As for VDV or Diego or Hamsik or whoever creative/big signing, it is not the time now, we have to wait for the summer window.

I would wish Tiago good luck if he moves to Tottenham.

same here...he had plenty chances to shine but it did not work. Sissoko can not be worse than Tiago, no chance, and Melberg, yes , we need him badly now..He is strong and coming from EPL which is much more physical than Seria A. For him it will be honor to play for Juve and in CL next year.
Diego in June for sure
