5 Player isn't a lot for 45m, especially if we spend some money (as we should) on a striker like Huntelaar or Bianchi. Or a solid CB or two. I would personally indulge in M. Diarra or Gilberto Silva.

I agree with you that there is a trend forming on these forums. Everyone likes to think it is a video game and they are wheeling and dealing. But, I can understand it too an extened because 45m is not too much to spend on 5 players.

Yes, we've to buy, at least six more players. But £50m plus the players we'd most probably sell, would be enough to sign the players we negotiate. Especially when taking into consideration that we aren't linked to superstars, i.e. Huntelaar is a good promising forward but he isn't Henry or Van Nistelrooy, I mean we won't overpay to get him. Also the superstars whom we chase, we wouldn't overpay to get, i.e. Gilberto Silva, we won't pay a lot to land him, he'll just have to buy the rest of his contract according to the Fifa's new rule.

Moreover, we wouldn't spend to sign new players in certain positions unless the regular starters; Buffon, Trezeguet and Camoranesi decide to leave. Hence, we'll get the money required to fill in the empty positions.

On the whole, I think that the likes of Diego deserve to pay for their services.

Well, the way I see it, it's either Frings or Diego. Seeing as they're both pivotal to Bremen, I don't think they'd let both go to Juventus without overpricing them.

A player is only signed when the contract is given to FIGC...probably we have made a offer and Werder have made a bigger offer. It seems that they give Frings 4 Mil Euros. Thats a lot of Money for a 31 year old guy
