Juve needs a creative source since Nedved and eventually Del Piero won't last in the top flight (if we're expected to compete with Inter) much longer..Frings is a good signing and will last us a good three years or four at most but he'll help solidify the defense (which needs a lot IMO). Diego would be a great breath of fresh air in our attack, as all of our attacking midfielders are aging with the exception of possibly Palladino. If Diego can't be lurred to Turin, we have to go for Ribery, this way we can place Nedved in the center with both Ribery and Camo/Marchionni on the wings. If even Ribery won't join us, we'll have to forsake our beloved Buffon as well as a third of our transfer budget and hope Milan will be willing to hand over KaKa (who looked amazing against Man Utd the other day). The three positions we need to fill if we have Frings for next season are: 2 defenders & 1 attacking midfielder...(if buffon stays)

That's a good start, Khalid. I agree with you, we're in an urgent need to sign a creative midfielder like Diego or Ribery. But, Kaka sounds like a very unrealistic target, he is the idol of Milan fans now and it is impossible for Milan to leave him even if they're offered a fortune.

You're welcome. :pint:

it seems Real Madrid has joined in the race for Diego...
I'm not sure about us negotiating Diego, I read it only in Tribal Football. I tend to believe that Frings is on verge to join us. But I don't think that Bremen would forsake both Frings and Diego. They can let him go though, but in this case, we have to pay a lot. Unfortunately, Real Madrid is always ready to pay more. If they're really negotiating him, our mission wouldn't be that easy.

Welcome, man. :pint:

Kaka is a very unrealistiic target, only a dream. let it go guys, we have a better chance of finding the Next Kaka (with our rep its a very long shot) than getting him.

Diego would be more realistic but only if Madrid and Barca(who couldlose Ronaldinho) don't join the bid.

Milan want buffon, we should ask for Kaka. swap our best player for their best player.

as for nedved, we cant push him in the middle, he simply wont last every game all season. he should be used as a super sub who can play both wings and replace the playmaker in games.

frings is very good, but i think his partner will be almiron. this means we need to purchase wingers who are fast and creative otherwise we will once again lose out on attacking abilities.

i would prefer to spend 10m to buy 2 "next Kaka", treat as an investment, if one of them really shows his talents, then we'll be the champion of 08-09 CL

the chances of Diego goin' to Real Madrid over Juve is high... afterall he is good friends with Robinho... plus Real Madrid could offer European football which Juve is unable to...
