Actually they are stopping it because Syria will be condemned guilty and thus Hizballa will lose a big support. This is why they are stopping it, trust is not an issue for these barbarians.

Killing Pierre is also one less person to threaten Michel Aoun to the presidency, who the hypocrite is not an ally with Hezballa and Syria. Killing Pierre has ZERO effect on Israel.
