His stupid decisions speak for themselves. Maybe it’s lack of experience or maybe just stubbornness but my point still stands.
He’s our 4th coach in the last 5-6 years? And probably going for a 5th next season. I mean, is there any doubt there’s something rotten in the way this club is being run?
Not to mention JJ medical aka butchery academy working wonders.
it's hindsight now to say this now though. if we look at it without bias, this would be my take:
after allegri was fired sarri should have been given at least another season to see if his ideas worked. team just won scudetto after all. but firing him then hiring a new guy like pirlo was never going to work. it was the right idea to let pirlo go. i think we all agree pirlo needed to go.
but how was anyone to know allegri wouldn't work? after all he didn't manage another club after leaving juve so no way to know he was going to play terrorist football. sure he was getting stale by end of his first stay here, but no one expected the bland soulless football he played for 3 seasons. end of day management went back to a proven coach and it didn't work. these things happen to any club so i can't blame management there. what we can blame them for is giving him a long term expensive contract and sticking with him for long time.
even motta i understand why club went for him even if i myself disagree with going for one season wonder coaches. the right approach would have been getting conte since he was available , but i understand why club didn't go for him after the allegri experience. it was still a bigger chance of success with conte than a new coach like motta from track record only. after all guy proved 3 times to take mediocre teams and win titles.
but new coaches failing is something any club can go through. madrid kind of mirrored what current post 2019 juve went though back in mid 2000s. they fired capello even after he won la liga due to terrorist style fooball. hired shuster. shuster was not popular with media just like sarri. club fired shuster after winning la liga, just like sarri was fired. then two failed experiments in juande ramos and manuel pellegrini. despite numerous signings like pepe, ronaldo etc.
we can blame managmenet for things like keeping allegri and motta too long though. or lack of sponsor. or the treatment of dybala and danilo and chiesa, then signings players like di maria and pogba. but coaching imo it's not a juve thing where multiple coaches can fail in a row.
