And then what happened? Motta will do better once we get the players fit.
Also we were playing 1 game a week. Really unfair comparison given the fact that we play 2 extra games in CL now as well.

We made too many changes in one summer and we don't have a suitable squad for multiple competitions. There's still too much rebuilding work to be done.

And then the worst part is how unlucky we have been with injuries. It's just 4 months and he deserves the benefit of the doubt. There are just too many things going against the coach that we blame our struggle entirely on him. Sure he can make some tactical adjustments but he's had some rough circumstances to deal with thus far.

It would take a monumental fuck up from Motta for us to not continue with him for at least the next couple of years.

Tl:dr Don't Judge!

Give it some time and patience.

I think I have seen literally 0 people blaming our struggle entirely on him.

But in the end, he will obviously be held responsible. It's his job to come up with solutions & get results.

Did People expect 8 new signings, new system, new coach to flourish now?

Get real! It will take time. Plus constant injuries! It has been imposible for him. I know we play shit, but now we took this direction - lets stick to it!
Well flourish is one word and do reasonable things like beating Lecce are another...
Did I expect us to run down Serie A? Nope
Did I expect us to play better in terms of putting danger in opposition area? Absolutely.

Taking one direction is for teenage pop bands and LinkedIn pussies.

This is Juventus, Papi Chulo. We need instant success.

Junktoli, Motta is clueless, Luiz and Nico are flops, Koop was a wasted summer, Locatelli is the worst thing to happen to Juve since calciopoli, Yildiz makes no impact, Fagioli is weak, Vlahovic is a poor man's Amauri, Gatti is a scrub, etc, etc

Calma. Not everyone is shit. We are just in a massive injury crisis during a rebuilding project. Everything looks bleak on the surface yet we are going through a rough moment and are still alive and decently placed in the league and cups with our general play improving since last year.

We are playing with Weah as striker... Our momentum for the past month or so has been derailed due to injuries. There are not many leaders in this team(yet)

Yildiz is talented but he's still very young and with that comes inconsistency as well. Same with Conceicao. We have one of the youngest squads in Serie A with many players yet to prove themselves at the highest level.

There are 2-3 players who have been very disappointing so far but I expect us to gradually improve in our play once we have all players returning from injury.

I repeat this is a transition season and we are on course to achieve our objectives.

who was at fault when in '98 juventus was at the top of the league table after 7 rounds, then del piero broke his acl in udine, and the team finished in 6th place as the title holder? lippi or moggi?

just a reminder, i'm sure you remember that the team had a starting 11 like peruzzi - ferrara, tudor, montero, iuliano - di livio, conte, zidane, deschamps, davids - inzaghi, with subs like pessotto, tacchinardi, henry, zalayeta, esnaider, etc

so was it moggi or lippi? pick a scapegoat

The question i have is if the teams above us...the likes of napoli inter and even atalanta...had similar injuries..would they be getting better results and playing well? Take their best CB, all striker options and a couple of midfielders away and see how they go. Motta has literally been raped with injuries..long term and short term...yes i agree we need more from the team and he is responsible for that but he hasnt had the chance to make this team gel.

Transition year or year zero?

Which three players have been disappointing?

Just so we are clear, you are saying motta is held in same regard as lippi. Lippi who in the previous two seasons had won cl and league titles. While motta had won fuck all.

But u are saying motta 4th place finish holds same weight as lippi cl and league titles.

This is what u are saying right?

Bit of both

Poopmeiners, Kily Gonzalez and David Luiz. All the big money signings have been very disappointing. I hope for Junktoli's sake that at least 2 of them somehow prove they're worth the investment.
