That was a boring 0-0.

But let's not focus on result.

What's important is the beautiful brand of football.

OK, we might not have that at all.

But we should still look on the bright side.

If someone could enlighten us at this dark hour please. What is the bright side?

Too many injured players, not reading too much into this. Shit game but 1 point away to Milan is acceptable. Losing points to Empolis, Cagliaris of the world will haunt us I feel.

Literally no striker available I am sure Thiago Motta wouldn't be too unhappy with a point.Anyways we are not competing for the scudetto with this thin squad.

Too many injuries, no ST I can understand but until now he seems like he is still learning which is acceptable. Until now it seems like he still doesn’t have the plan B figured out.

It's remarkable that we're still unbeaten with such a depleted squad.

Allegro laid such a poor foundation that it would've been very hard for any new coach to come in and get immediate results.

Until we have a proper striker rotation this team is going to be a mess. If we weren’t planning on buying another 9, selling Kean and running with Vlahovic and a super injury prone Milik only was a recipe for disaster. Setting Motta up for failure.

What is he learning exactly?

And you haven't mentioned about midfield which has also not improved much?

Sure, but it took Allegri 64 games in first stint to reach 4 0-0 draws, and 103 games in his second stint.
So these are concerning numbers for Motta for sure.
Yeah but Yildiz is no Tevez, Dusan is Farr off from Higuain and there’s no one, no one in midfield capable of what MVP were. Let’s not start about the Defense. The only two players which could play in those teams are Bremer and Cambiaso.

Tactics, plan B, how to be a manager at a big club. But I’m satisfied.

Right now, I'd settle for a plan A.
Me too, but it was slowly coming around and forming. Vlahovic up front, Koop behind him with Coencicao and Yildiz in the wings with Loca-Thuram in the middle, Cambiaso, Bremer, Kalulu and Cabal in Defense. It’s not a world beater but it was almost perfect for a start and Serie A. But then BAM 2 ACL injuries in a month. With the substitute Striker out whole 1st half of the season, and the main Striker is so inconsistent it’s unbelievable..

Look I really liked Allegri especially in the first stint and how he always adapted but Motta needs time, it’s like everything is against him in past month. I like what I see even though it’s not perfect it’s still a good start.

We will need to excersize a lot of patience this season. Too many bumps on the road so far. January mercato will be important this season.
