Wingers too isolated. Fullbacks derping around as DMs. Just overlap them. Cambiaso is insane but let him help Yildiz, not do Locas job.

The defensive RB is too much whether it's Savona or Kalulu. Jfc Bremer is the best CB in the world defensively, don't be so scared.

it's clear he is out of his depth. no wins and no goals scored in 3 matches in a row. no wins entire month of september

no wins and no goals in 2 matches at home. no attemtps on target

and this match he had 3 subs he could make and decided what was on pitch was fine.

he is not a coach good enough for serie a

I think he has prioritized defense a lot in this early stage of the season but at this point we need to see more in the attack. We improved in defense tremendously but attacking wise, we're awful.

Our gameplan was like let's bombard them with crosses from the left.

And that was about it.

Motta inexperience is coming to light again and again and it will cost us.

I will say it once more. We needed Zidane or Klopp. Not someone so new to coaching and pretentious as Motta.

A lot of new faces so I wont panic. Its a process, we have just started. Positives: taking Dusan off, better passing eventhough we need to be more vertical, defense is solid. We did create several chances, Koop had a good one actually but Napoli with Conte would always be hard to grind down. Moving on.

He's trying to be too clever.

That Weah for Vlahovic substitution was never going to pay off, we lost any sort of threat or presence down the middle. I'm not saying Valhovic had a good game (I actually thought he was fine, some good/some bad) but it killed our attacking threat in the second half. I think we'd have been far better with Gonzalez through the middle and Weah on the right if that's what he wanted to go with.

I thought Savona did really well defensively but looked like a next gen player when we had a ball. It might have been worth going with Danilo who did well against PSV and is good on the ball.

We need a plan B when it isn't working. Continuing to pass slowly side to side is not going to work when teams get bodies back. There are times we will need to go direct, our best half chances in the first half came when we got the ball into the box from crosses. Which made going with Weah through the middle even more bizarre.

this is motta system:

sideways pass between the back 4.

front pass to yildiz or koop who hug the left wing.

back pass to cambiasso playing as cm.

pass forward to cm who is playing left wing.

back pass to cbs

repeat process.

Motta system will require time and patience for the players to implement and anyways achieving ucl qualification was the objective not winning the scudetto.

I thought he was appallingly bad. We absolutely need a back-up/competition for Dusan. He’s so bloody inconsistent. When he’s playing this way, it’s borderline criminal to have him on the pitch. Seems like a mental thing, I don’t know. Sometimes he looks like a world-beater and other times he looks like a Serie C level striker.

0-0s against Roma and Napoli are results most would take at the start of the season.

The only bad result here is the one against Empoli.

So yeah, y’all need to take an OD of calma.

Some people expect Motta to be a magician and solve all our problems.

if vlahovic is bad, what do we say about yildiz, weah, and gonzaelz?

no danger or chances came from them on pitch. same with koop.

the CF can only do so much. end of day needs support from wingers and midfield.

He takes 0 risks, we do have possession but it’s mainly from our center backs passing it between them and Di Gregorio.

Last 3 Serie A games.. 3 stale 0-0s. Not even a shot on target is unacceptable.
