108/110 - Thiago Motta

107/110 - Andrea Pirlo

These were the two best marks from the session of the MCC 'Master coaching course' in Coverciano back in 2020!

I'm pretty curious to see how he goes about implementing his system. Whether he will ease into or just go fresh new ideas with the teething pains that come from it straight away.

I think he needs to make the changes early and push through any issues that may arise and we should be prepared for that as well. This team is desperate for new ideas.

It is always different at a big club, the patience is not there but I hope he doesn't go into his shell or be too conservative. Being a player that has played at the top level and been successful you'd hope he doesn't.

I wonder if he will look to the center backs to be his extra mids or whether he will do it with his fullbacks. With our players, assuming Danilo and Cambiaso are starting I think it would reallt work well if they join in the midfield when we have the ball. Especially Cambiaso (I think he has the potential to really have a great season and establish himself properly)

I do hope he goes for a 4 2 3 1 or at the very least a 4 3 3 but it will depend on who we get and who we lose. I'm really excited for once about pre season just to see how we look.

Welcome Thiago

I have a feeling we might finally enjoy watching this team again.
