Good game, but I was frustrated that we struggled to beat their press at times. Thuram and Locatelli did little in build up to beat the press. Defense was solid, Cambiaso and Yildiz were fantastic, Chico a genuine difference maker, Weah finds himself in good spots so Id be tempted to try him as a striker. Dusan disappointing again, had a good chance but that was a weak effort that Vanja gathered easily in the 1st half. 6 wins, 6 draws, considering the changes, I'm satisfied.

Glad to see him starting to play our strongest 11.
I think if you switch Weah/Conceicao today's lineup is probably the best we have available. Although Weah did well today.
Second half wasn't as good, we let them get a bit too much space and didn't control possession as well. But it was our best performance in a few weeks.

I dont know if special is the right term but yeah we can finally pass some balls around, we have the idea, we have a style of play (although I must admit Im less of a fan of this type of football which reminds me a bit of Pep).
In two years after things gel and we get proper reinforcements - We could win Serie A and challenge with a chance in Europe although there will be others who will be considered favorites (Real, City, maybe Barcelona by then who knows.., Bayern could get back in there and of course there is Liverpool)

That's what I've been saying. We've seen that the players are capable of delivering at the top level. I trust that Motta is the guy who will be able to manage the squad into a team which enables everybody to play at their highest level. All things being well with our players' development we will need to sign very few first team players before our next Champions League final imo. Two years, as you say.
