We thrive on open matches and struggle against parked buses. Most league teams sit deep and we won’t get a penalty every match.

I expect a good amount of draws this season unless he comes up with something new.
I agree. We need some mean shooting from distance to unlock such games as we can't rely on lucky penalties all the time.

So once the team score, we don't just become a conservative team and sit back. Instead we take advantage of the spaces that the opponents leave who are searching for goals. We've gone on to score 3 goals in these games we won. That to me is a major improvement and something we've asked for for years. It's still a work in progress but once we figure out how to score that first goal in matches, we'll be tough to beat. We're already imposing our play and already have high percentage of possession. Good signs.

Its way too early imo and we had a lot of changes, some players like Koop didnt have preseason with us so I expected it to take some time. It can be frustrating to watch us at times, very boring 1st half but I think by November we might resolve our issues.

Not a fan of such heavy rotation this early. It still feels like we aren't starting our strongest 11 together but got to give him credit for how much the team has changed in such little time.

We still struggle to create chances when teams sit back and aren't doing enough to stretch teams when they do but once the game opens up we are looking fluid.

I think we gotta remember that Motta isn’t familiar with most of these players, he’s probably still in evaluation mode. I don’t think he’s settled on his best 11 yet.

Consistency is important in the beginning, I agree. On the other hand it shows the players that there are places upp for grabs if they prove themselves. Whilst we can keep them fresh. For once there is actually real competition on every position except Bremer's, partially Yildiz and Dusan to but for other reasons.
