When does a coach make 4 subs at once?

When things aren't functioning or when the coach is inexperienced + pretentious?

Or both?

What do you guys think?
Motta is modern coach with clear tactical system it will take time for the players to understand the system and implement his tactical instructions on the pitch. As for the four substitutes it is obvious that Empoli tactics did neutralize our game plan.

All of the new players are training together for 3-4 weeks now, some went to 2 weeks international break so there is not enought chemistry yet. The main challenge for motta will be teams that are sitting back. When he was in bologna he had no problems with that. 2 wins, 2 ties no goal conceded. Not good not terrible.

why is everyone ignoring the obvious.

if he needs more time to drill the ideas into the team, why did he only play 3 pre season friendlies
And the way he played them! Oh boy that was something. Especially the 3-0 Nurnberg. It still hurts :(.

Guus Hiddink on Juve....and Allegri......

Q: And the new Juventus?

"Many players have arrived, some at the end of the transfer window, meaning just a couple of weeks ago. We need to give the coach the right amount of time to make all the mechanisms work. I like Motta, after all he's Brazilian, someone who plays attacking football like us Dutch. Not like Allegri who used to park a London bus in front of the goal, a double-decker bus I mean. Football is a spectacle, offensive, goals. It should bring joy to the fans. And anyway, Thiago builds solid teams, taking great care of the defensive phase as well. In the first 4 rounds of Serie A, Juventus hasn't conceded any goals. As a player, he was a good midfielder, you could immediately notice his intelligence on the field."

Guus is of course spot on. But he's also a cool guy. @.zero @Enron and I have met him before. Good conversations.
