this cambiasso as a attacking threat he is doing is not a bad tactic.

wish juve had a cancelo or teo hernadez on the left. would be a great system to play then for sure

Jj saved by a lolzillian :touched:

On a serious note, great job!! Even if it’s only Como still a great start to get our morale up again. Love to see the young players enjoying their moment.

It’s unthinkable to me that anyone could believe Allegri was the best we could have. Takes some special kind of stupid. I’ve seen more improvements in one match than 3 seasons in a row.

Props to Motta. Keep it up, porra!

What was reassuring to see was how despite having several rotationals playing in the 2nd half, we never looked like we had lost control of the game. Now that might be because we played Como, but if this is a sign of things to come then im optimistic. Koop or no Koop.

I totally ignored pre-season, this was a really nice surprise. Pressing was great and saw some good runs, funny that a pivot might work under his ideas while it was a disaster with Allegri. Great start.
the main difference is whenever someone gets the ball there’s support in the immediate area. So no one is isolated and they can play the short game. Not just relying on counters and individual brilliance. Feels like an actual team

Great start.

A few interesting tactical tweaks and nice to see us play with some energy.

You can see what a ball carrying CB would have brought to the team at times, which is frustrating. But I like that he is trying to find solutions that fit our squad and not just copy Bologna's style exactly e.g. Vlahovic played nothing like Zirkzee and we didn't avoid putting in crosses.

I hope we see Cabal at LCB, I think he would fit really well there.

Imo that's why Motta needs Koop. A glue upfront, hard-working and good final ball.

Very good start and that Como side looked reasonably well organized.

This team plus Kululu, Koop? and the 2 offensive wingers we are after could really be quite something. Keep up the good work Motta.

I assume Weah is out for a while? Looked like a pulled muscle or something.

Motta:We approached the game with respect, defending collectively and attacking well throughout the match. We need to recover from this match, focus on regaining our energy, and concentrate on Verona. We cannot be relaxed and happy after single victory.
