He’s even worse than Pirlo from that season.

This is Delneri levels of garbage.

Motta’s previous Bologna side are only 6 points away from us after we invested 200m and sold its best players with Calafiori and Zirkzee.

They’ve also played 2 games less.

This whole concept of signing a coach because of his latest result is BS. It’s the reason we once hired Delneri who made it to 4th with Samp.

We need to open our eyes, Motta just doesn’t cut it over here.
This fukin idiots doesnt get that they need to hire a TOP coach for once in their fucking lives.

How can they be this dense is beyond me

Thank you for this post. I had such a good laugh.

Motta attacking coach? When, where?
Wisdom to adapt? Half a season is gone and he is using the same tactic and considers Koop key player, while we have won ≈40% of the games.
I don't actually believe this

Such an Allegriesque win. Get dominated by minnows, rely on individual magic and good fortune to get the points.

But consider this theory: what if he really wants to play Angeball but then he realized he doesn’t have the players for it, and reverted to Jihadball out of pragmatism?

People criticize Ange and Amorim for a lack of pragmatism in sticking to their style despite clearly not having the players for it. Maybe Motta is an attacking coach at heart but has the wisdom to adapt based on his players
Interesting you didn’t feel this way about Allegri.

Interesting you didn’t feel this way about Allegri.
But according to some here Motta has more credit to his name and should be given more seasons even if we fail to qualify to UCL, him managing a historic achievement with Bologna and finishing 5th place there means there’s every reason to trust and expect that within a few years he will make us Scudetto winners or at least challengers(still good enough for some), regardless if we don’t see any progress throughout.

About technical aspect, Motta need to find his alternative formation/tactics. He can't rely on just one.

The first formation/tactic i assume is the one againts Milan in our home. It's not perfected yet but it's worth the shot. This aggressive tactic need players that good at counterpress like Nico, Koop, Thuram, Locatelli. We should build a team around them including of course our star boy Yildiz and the man of the hour Kolo Muani.
unfortunately, this approach is too energy consuming. We can't play same players, game in game out, every 3 or 4 days. He could play this at Bologna last year that barely have midweek game. But with european commitment and thight schedule this season, it's difficult.

Thats why he need to find the alternative. We can build a team around the players like Luiz, Conceicao, Dusan, and alberto costa to give the others a break to get to their best condition again.

We have a squad of 24 players if we exclude milik, cabal, and bremer. Even with Adzic and rouhi that not yet at serie A level, i think we should be ready to manage rotation and game management better.

Regarding mental aspect, honestly i doubt that we will improve in this aspect. With Motta and his man management, i haven't see a hungrier Juve in players eyes. I don't think it will improve instanly. No leader in team only will make it worse

Motta:

"This will be a great match to play, we have to give our all and play with great intensity. We will be at home, we must have great respect and play a complete game to reach our goal, which is to qualify."

"The boys look good and are very focused. We know what we have to do to win tomorrow. We will face a team that plays very good football."

"Our goal is to qualify. A lot has changed since our match-up a few months ago. The big challenge is to always improve. Tomorrow will be a different story, a different game. We are determined."

"I live every game intensely. I like to see our team go on the attack. We know what we have to do and what we have to avoid tomorrow."

"PSV Eindhoven is a great team with quality players. We have a lot of respect for the opponent, we have to be at our best level to compete with them."

"Kolo Muani has been very good, but likewise his teammates. One player alone goes nowhere. Randal with his qualities raises the level of the group, as so many others do as well."

"We have many players, they all want to play, but they can't all play. They know perfectly well that what counts is the quality of the minutes they play, and not the quantity."

"Every single player must and wants to raise his personal level for the good of the team. I am optimistic, the group is working well. Those who will not start from the beginning will have the opportunity to raise their level as the game goes on, as happened in Como."

Thiago #Motta : “ Cambiaso out tomorrow. #Vlahovic I see him very well, like all the others: he will give a big hand. Koopmeiners he has played in different roles with excellent performances. I am very satisfied with Koop's work. Criticism? I have not read anything negative…”. Juventus

He's confused Juve with Bologna maybe that's why he talks a lot nonsense or perhaps he still thinks that he's Bologna's coach.

- - - Updated - - -

I used to think he's bad. Now I think he's literally crazy.
No, it's the board that is very crazy! They think Juve is a small club who is content to be mid level, we took a huge step back this season with appointing a mediocre coach.

We’ll have to be at our very best to be able to keep up and compete against the mighty powerhouse of PSV, it’s not necessarily that we need to do our best so that we win as it is to at least raise our level to challenge them.

The minutes played by the #Juventus midfielders in 2024-2025 season as of February 11 2025:
- #Koopmeiners 77%
- #Locatelli 73%
- #Thuram 58%
- #McKennie 51%
- #DouglasLuiz 30%

[@mirkonicolino]
Apart from Douglas Luiz, how I'd rate them from worst to best. Go figure, mister....

Guys, remember when Pirlo became our coach, and our management called him "Un predestinato", but even though he sucked big time as a coach, still he somehow managed to win 2 trophies in a single season.

Well that's not what's going to happen in this case.
