The only identifiable trademark of his system is for Locatelli to be the focal point of distribution and that he looks to make diagonal passes to the wingers in order for them to create chances. Also him dropping back into defence to make a 3 while the fullbacks push up.

Not a bad idea - Locatelli has the passing range for it. Our fullbacks then push up to help the wingers in case they are isolated. The issues are that FC7 doesn't get a lot of time these days and Gonzalez disappears. Yildiz is then left with all our hopes pinned on him and he gets swamped. We don't have the fullbacks for this system either.

We've been figured out: the solution is to press Locatelli to not allow him time on the ball and heavily mark Yildiz. This leaves all of our players improvising to try and play ball and then we're left without a system and then even bottom feeder Serie A teams can impose their game on us. It also leaves Locatelli without an option behind him a la Bonucci from Pirlo- because Locatelli is often in the defence.

The lack of plan B is terrifying. We're relying on moments of magic. Fortunately Kolo looks like a baller but the issue was never about not having enough magic in the squad its been about why are we so reliant on that kind of spark instead of imposing ourselves onto matches and creating winning opportunities as a team.

As long as we keep winning I don't really care so much, but it doesn't inspire confidence that we seem lucky whenever we win.

Muani is keeping him in the job. There will be that reality check game like the 5-1 loss to Napoli where all our weaknesses will be laid out in the open. I have a massive dislike for his methods coupled with Guintoli's behaviour with players, these two will leave once they've destroyed the squad and forced out our most talented players.

Why is this club against sacking coaches midway? I know it’s not lo stilo Juve / Agnelli gentlemen’s code but Milan has sacked that Portuguese fraud and right now seem to do much better.

We all know Motta’s future. Just like we knew Ferrera’s, Delneri’s, Allegri’s and now Motta’s. Wht wait till the summer?

Firstly, who would you replace him? Additionally, due to the terms of the contract we have to pay him. Simply can't drive him out and say goodby! When signing a contract with a coach, the club is obliged to comply with the clauses of the contract, and this is a common practice in all professional clubs. In any case, if you fire the coach, you must pay his salary for the period specified in the contract. I don't think there is a clause in the contract that would allow the club to fire the coach even in the event of poor results without paying him unless the termination of contract is by mutual agreement.
