No way theres any sense to abandon project and sack this guy mid season unless its crystal clear that he’s lost the team and we’re only falling down. Or if a great option becomes available. Plenty of examples out there with coaches starting slow and then picking up, Motta should be given until end of season if nothing radical happens.

How radical we talking? He's won 7 out of 20 games in Serie A and 3 out of 6 in the Champions League. 20% win rate between the two competitions that matter.

I find him likeable despite being a stubborn mule. He has to work with Guintolli afterall. Not an easy task considering Gui keeps antagonizing our players while falling to provide replacements.

look guintoli is to blame for many things.

but motta is a big problem.

why are all players struggling under him? only ones doing somewhat ok are conceicao and mckennie. all new signings are struggling. the main stars of attack yildiz and vlahovic struggling.

you cannot say these players are bad. it's just not possible. motta is the main problem.

I would say only Vlahovic is underperforming. For Yildiz this first real season and he wasn't setting world apart at Euro too.
Locatelli is much better though.
Then there are new guys, both big signings had minimal or negative impact, but is he to blame for that?

di gregorio was best goalie last season. koop was one of the best mids last season in serie a and europa. luiz was one of the best mids in a way better league than serie a. nico was one of the best wing attackers in league for last 2 seasons. what are the odds that all of them struggle at the same time? this is all pointing to coach being a problem

cambiaso, danilo also struggling.

this to me points to motta being a big problem. bbc under del neri was joke. bbc under conte was the foundation of juve's title wins

He is part of the problem and should be fired for terrible results. 35% of wins is not acceptable. But the guy doing firing should be fired himself as he is the main problem. We can keep recycling coaches but I dont see this as a solution in the long term. We have a trojan horse making decisions. Let me remind you that we were competing for the title last year around this time, but our GM decided to ruin any kind of relationship with a manager which ultimately led to horiffic string of results. He alieniated half the squad over the summer, he sells, releases players without finding suitable replacements first. This is not sustainable model of running business.
